It is a wonderfully light and spacious top floor apartment furnished to a high standard. It is moments away from the South West coastal path and less than five minute walk to the beach. Well behaved dogs are welcome. Cornish cream tea on arrival. Sleeps 6. 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms.

About Wendy Stokes

We have been visiting Sennen Cove since the mid 90's, so when this property came up for sale we jumped at the chance. We bought Whitesands Penthouse in 2008 from close friends, who lived there full time. I think this is why from the moment you walk in the front door it feels like a home. The views from all the windows are amazing - when you wake up the morning sun floods the bedroom and you can lie in bed and watch the waves roll in. During the day you can sit on the sofa and watch life unfold in the cove below, and the fisherman go about their daily business. Finally when the sun sets you can watch in wonder from the balcony or outside on the deck. There is always something to look at and we are delighted to share this with our visitors.

We love Sennen because of the fantastic walks both coastal and inland, the beautiful beaches and crystal clear seas, the warm welcome, the surfing, the variety of wildlife and the fresh clean air.

What makes this apartment unique

We love being right on the coastal path - it's great for us and our dog. And we love our garden with the soft lawns and fantastic views of the beach, (which we share with the other flats in the building) but NO ONE else ever uses it so it feels like it's all ours!

Property is cleaned at the beginning and end of each holiday let, and sheets can be changed during a two week stay if requested. Other: Drying room with boiler, coat hooks, and beach games

Spacious apartment with great views.

A week away with our grown up children and their partners. Many family holidays at Sennen in the past.They insisted on coming back to Sennen Cove and to have somewhere with views. A long way from Cumbria but yet again Sennen Cove was well worth the drive. Visited all the usual places with family memories and even managed two days on the beach.

Absolutely fantastic

The apartment was all we could have dreamed off and we have a lovely relaxing holiday. Would recommend to anyone. Only slight niggle was no microwave, but we soon got the hang of "proper" cooking again!

Great location but disappointing with lack of kitt

Stayed from 22nd Dec - 29th Dec nice welcome Mulled wine and card. Nice place in a lovely location, within walking distance to Lands end and Sennen Cove. We were disappointed with no microwave, oven trays and no DVD player. We bought a DVD player and oven trays just for our stay over Christmas but managed without a microwave. The steps leading up to the lane were dangerously slippery.

A little more thought within the apartment would make this a perfect place to stay.

Coast/Beach:

Three minutes walk to the small harbour beach, and five minutes walk to the main Whitesands beach

Travel:

Nearest airport is Newquay. Nearest train station is 20 minutes by car in Penzance. Local bus service is good, but would recommend use of a car.

Distances:

Lands End is 20 minute walk on coastal path, Penzance is 6.5 miles, approx 15-20 mins by car, Minack Open Air Theatre at Porthcurno is 4-5 miles, approx 10-15 mins by car, or a few hours beautiful walking along the coastal path.

Further Details:

The Beach restaurant, on Whitesands Beach with west facing terrace. The Sennen Cove lifeboat station. Minack open air theatre in Porthcurno. St Ives, shops, galleries and restaurants, 2 Fore Street, Mousehole.
