This lovely apartment is an idea choice for your stay in the charming seaside town of Looe. The apartment is spacious, comfortable and welcoming. It is centrally located in the heart of Looe, a short stroll and you are in the centre and harbour. The apartment also has the benefit of an allocated parking space which is rare in the centre of Looe. There are three small balconies on the front of the property, off the lounge, kitchen and master bedroom, all with sea and beach views. Looe has many excellent restaurants, shops and other amenities. There is always something to do here, from boat and fishing trips, coastal walks, diving, surfing and crabbing, something for all the family.

About Michelle Hallahan

We purchased this beautiful apartment in August 2013 having immediately fallen in love with it. We wanted something special close to the beach with stunning views and feel that we have the perfect property to offer to our customers to run as our holiday let. We think the apartment is in an excellent location and the perfect choice for a holiday by the sea. We do not live locally but we do have someone who looks after the apartment for us and so would be on hand if any difficulties or problems arise.

Why Michelle Hallahan chose Looe

I hadn’t been back to Looe since I was a teenager (many years ago). I loved it back then and still do today. Its a lovely place and somewhere that you can relax and unwind. Looe is somewhere we felt we could retire to in future years and absolutely love it here.

What makes this apartment unique

The apartment is in the perfect location, right on the beach yet within a stroll to everything you could want. The apartment is very spacious and there are lovely big windows to the front of the building giving lots of natural light and spectacular views. The kitchen is really big with a table and chairs so you can eat as a family when not dining out.

Special interest holidays:

Looe has a lot to offer and is also a great base to explore other parts of Cornwall. There are a variety of things to do vary. Each year Looe has its annual duck race and Taste of West Food Festival. There are fishing trips, coastal walks, crabbing on the quay to relaxing on the beach. Slightly further afield you will find the Eden Project and a variety of National Trust properties. There is also the opportunity to spend New Year in Looe which is truly wonderful and is in the top 10 places to spend New Year in Great Britain.

Coast/Beach:

Directly in front of the apartment block you will find Looe’s sandy beach. The beach is a clean council maintained beach and has a shallow slope to the sea, is safe bathing and dog free all year. There are ice cream parlours adjacent to the beach and entertainment in Season. There are also other beautiful beaches along the coastal path, great for exploring. Whitsand Bay is another lovely beach.

Further Details:

Looe is a bustling fishing town with loads of restaurants and pubs giving plenty of choice for all budgets. Looe caters for residents and visitors alike so there is a wide choice of supermarkets, bakers, butchers, banks, post office, chemist, hairdressers, clothing, gift shops and beach shops and fish market.

When you have had enough of the beach, try one of the various boat and fishing trips available which include shark fishing, diving and surfing or why not spend a family afternoon crabbing from the quay. The SW Coast path or walks in Kilminorth Woods will provide plenty of exercise and breath-taking scenery.

Please note because the apartment is on the third floor and is reached by stairs (no lift) it may not be suitable for families with babies/toddlers or for anyone with mobility problems. Ultimate 5* apartment

My daughter and I spent 4 days at this lovely apartment and we both fell in love with it. It is spacious, comfortable, immaculately clean, and has absolutely everything you may need and want. The location is brilliant, you can literally roll out of bed and have breakfast in one of Looe's lovely cafes, and multiple restaurants are literally on your doorstep (we recommend Papa Nino for a truly delicious Italian). You can also cook and eat in as the kitchen is fabulously equipped including such luxuries as a dishwasher. The views towards the sea are simply breath taking and we even enjoyed some rain in Looe as that gave us an excuse to have some lazy times in the living room watching the waves roll in. The apartment has a car park which is quite rare in Looe, and last but definitely not the least - Michelle the owner is very helpful and flexible. We are already planning to go back next year and in the meantime we recommend this apartment to anybody who is looking for a spacious and comfortable place in Looe.

Perfect apartment, central and very well appointed

We loved this apartment for our family of 4. Right in the centre of things, right on the beach the furnishings were to a very high standard. Great kitchen with everything you need, well stocked. Parking right in town which is very rare in Looe. The 3 balconies over looking the beach were great, or site inside with the balcony doors open and listen to the waves.

Looe is a great place to stay with many restaurants, pubs and takeaways. Lots to do and not far to get to other places. We had boat trips, walks, beach etc.

Just beware there are 67 stairs up to the apartment but you are rewarded with the best view East, South and West.

Two bathrooms with showers (and one with a bath). The pictures actually don't do it justice as the apartment is large, plenty of room for the 4 of us. We loved it and highly recommend it.

Wonderful apartment.

As described by others the stairs are challenging but only on the first entry. Upon opening the door, the presentation of the apartment along with the exceptional view, dissolves every step from your mind. Our visit was for a 50th birthday and Looe was decided upon as it offered plenty of things to do. Last minute bookings rarely offer such fantastic accommodation but with luck on our side Michelle's apartment was available.

Thank you for the opportunity, this place is firmly on our "return" list for the near future.

Perfect apartment, worth every step for the view.

Booked the apartment for my Wife’s birthday stay and we had a great time. The apartment was clean and tidy on arrival, with a little welcome pack and pint of milk in the fridge for our first brew and to take in the view. Cannot imagine staying anywhere else in Looe in the future. Thank you again Michelle.
