Churchview offers spacious accommodation in the heart of Topsham. It has a large lounge complete with cosy sofa and chairs to seat 6. A large double bedroom with original wooden flooring and ample wardrobe space and a light airy twin room with single beds. A family bathroom with shower/bath/hand basin and wc, a further separate wc and a large cottage style kitchen with table and chairs, storage space, fridge/freezer, cooker and many more facilities. Churchview is ideally situated for any type of holiday, whether you wish to relax and take in the breath taking views of the River Exe, walk along idyllic paths surrounding Topsham or have fun filled days visiting the many attractions in Devon, there's something for all!

About Jo Huxtable

My wife and I have lived in Devon for over 9 years and this is most definitely home. We came back to the West Country having worked all over the UK but as they say life is a journey homeward bound.

We bought this property because we love Topsham. The architecture, the range of fine eating houses ,its position on the River Exe all give it a unique vibe that draws you back time after time.

Given that Exeter Airport is only 6 miles away and Exeter, the Regional capital is right on the doorstep it makes for a great holiday location.

What makes this apartment unique

The property is a lovely Grade 2 listed building set right in the heart of the historic port of Exeter .With a situation over looking St Margaret's church and minutes from the historic quay and waterfront it provides the perfect base for exploring Devon and Cornwall.

We pride ourselves on providing our guests with a really comfortable stay in a spacious and well appointed apartment.

Topsham has a unique blend of fine restaurant's and boutique style shops with a great range of sports activities on the door step.

Notes on accommodation: For pricing for short breaks and to book directly online please visit our property also listed under Topsham on the Holiday Lettings website (Home 523444) Week long bookings, short breaks and longer term lets are available, please contact to discuss options. A travel cot is available for use at no extra charge. Specific bedding is not provided however there is spare bedding and blankets within the apartment for use. A sofa bed is available for an additional child at a cost of £10 per night, this includes all bedding and towels. Utility Room: Cupboard in bedroom housing iron, ironing board, clothes airer and hoover Cleaning / Towels / Linen Fresh bed-linen and towels are provided. For 2 weeks stays linen and towels are changed half way through.

Stylish, homely and well equipped apartment.

My family enjoyed a long weekend at Churchview visiting family in Budleigh Salterton. I am from South Devon and know Topsham well. It is a pretty water side place with endless interesting things to explore. The location is ideal for visiting surrounding places like Exeter and all the wonderful coastline from Exmouth to Beer and beyond. The apartment itself is beautifully decorated in a simple style and everything we needed was there. My kids, age 9 and 7, loved exploring the apartment and the little streets leading down to the water in Topsham. We will stay here again for sure!

Fabulous apartment with a great location!

Wow - what a wonderful holiday we had here! This is a spacious and luxurious flat, in a perfect, central spot, for exploring Topsham and the surrounding area. What makes this place so special is the excellent attention to detail and homely feel from the beautiful decoration. The small touches really do matter: excellent quality kitchen equipment, luxury bedding (so very comfortable!) and everything you could want, down to vases and champagne flute glasses.

The welcome pack with fruit, cake, crackers and homemade chutney was a lovely addition and the owners kept in touch to check if we needed anything.

The views of the churchyard from the kitchen window were stunning, especially at sunset and in the morning, watching birds in the garden. The estuary walk towards Exeter is just at the end of the churchyard over the wall, and from the kitchen you can even see the tops of moving boat sails along the estuary. We also especially enjoyed being conveniently opposite the cheese shop!

This was our first trip to Devon and Topsham is a beautiful town to stay in. There is so much to do: lots of pubs and restaurants, RSPB Bowling Green Marsh, lido, and plenty of local shops. Public transport is very convenient so you don't need a car. We regularly got the train into Exeter, and initially planned the holiday around my graduation ceremony at Exeter Cathedral, which was amazing! We also had a beautiful day trip to Exmouth beach with perfect weather and took in the stunning views from the train along the estuary.

We would love to come back and explore the area a bit more, as there is just so much to do here, and we would certainly love to return to Churchview.

This is a very well appointed apartment presented with great flair in a good central location.

My wife and I have just returned from our third stay at Churchview and on every visit we have found it to be spotlessly clean. The interior is very characterful with spacious rooms that are attractively furnished. Topsham is a lovely old town on the River Exe with good shops, restaurants and pubs. There is always lots going on to watch on the river - not just boats but a wonderful variety of sea birds.

Wonderful stay in Churchview, Topsham

This flat is one of the best we've stayed in! It was spacious, spotless, and very well equipped. It was also very comfortable and nicely decorated. The location was excellent. Topsham is a great base to explore the surrounding Exe estuary area, with good bus and train links. All in all, highly recommended!

Delightful apartment in a delightful town

Very spacious, warm and well equipped accommodation. It is situated in the middle of Topsham, which isn't a big place. Yes, on Friday and Saturday nights we heard the revellers coming out of the pubs, but overall, the central location suited us fine. Topsham is full of brilliant eating places and lovely quaint shops. It has a great community feel and we experienced a warm greeting wherever we went. We walked the five miles or so to Exmouth along the Estuary cycle/walkway - a beautiful walk through more lovely villages and wide open riverside vistas.

Overall, a very comfortable place to stay.
