This special holiday apartment (127 sqm) is located in the historic city center of Taormina offering stunning views, a large roof terrace and a parking option. It is located in the quiet part of the historic city center of Taormina and everything can be reached within a short walking distance. In cooperation with the Paradise Beach Club our guests have the possibility to stay at the Paradise Beach Club and use their pool and beach.
The apartment provides a specious living - dining area, a very pleasant terrace and several balconies (with impressing views), two bath rooms and 4 bed rooms plus flip out sofa with duck board in the living room, in total suitable for up to 8 guests.

Upon previous request we are happy to provide a baby cot and high chair.
The kitchen is fully equipped and offers all utensils for cooking and dining. It has no oven but a microwave.
The living room is equipped with an extra flip out sofa, a fireplace, is bright and comfortably furnished offering stunning, unforgettable views on the Mediterranean sea and Mt. Etna.
There is a satellite flat screen TV and free WiFi. The apartment is air conditioned and bed linen and towels are being provided. In case you visit Taormina during winter time you can heat the apartment with the air condition pleasantly and also use the open fire place.
Due to it's special position, the apartment offers nearly a 360 degree view over the Gulf of Taormina, the coast of Calabria, the old town of Taormina, the Mount Etna and Castelmola. The large roof terrace and the balconies are furnished and invite you to dine with unforgettable views on Taormina and the Mediterranean.
The apartment has been fully renovated in 2007 and is situated on the 5th Floor (without elevator) of a quiet apartment building near Corso Umberto (main shopping and restaurant area). You can directly reach the apartment by car and have the possibility of parking in the immediate vicinity.

A housekeeping / cleaning service and an extra change of bed linen and towels can be booked separately (at charge).
PARKING
Parking is possible in front of the condo on the Piazza at no charge (which is very rare in the historic city center of Taormina). This parking option however is not available for the full month of August and each Wednesday as the green grocery market is being held. For these exceptions I recommend to use the public car park at Porta Catania ( 3 - 5 minutes walk, parking is at charge there).
UTILIZATION OF POOL AND BEACH
In cooperation with the Paradise Beach Club our guests have the option to stay at the Paradise Beach Club. The entrance fee depends on the season (€ 10 - € 15 adult, € 5,00 - € 8,00 child between 3 to 10 years) and includes access to the beach, sunlounger, umbrella, usage of pool, shower, free WiFi and shuttle bus.
The Paradise beach club is one of the best lidos of Taormina, offering a complete beach service, an excellent beach front restaurant, a beach front pool area and a very special small mediterranean park area to relax and cool down during the hot noonday.
As the town penthouse is located in the historic city center of Taormina, their shuttle bus (free of charge) gets you to the Paradise Beach Club. The bus stop is just a 3 – 4 minutes walk distant . It takes approximately 15 – 20 minutes by bus to get from the city center to the Paradise Beach Club.
The pool and the beach club is opened from 1st of June to 31st of October. Please note that the usage of the beach club and pool is not included in our rental price and has to be paid directly to the Paradise Beach Club.
THE NEIGHBOURHOOD
The apartment is located in the historic city center of Taormina. The area is very quiet, save and is considered as one of the most pleasant housing areas of Taormina.
There is a supermarket in front of the condo. The weekly green grocery market takes place each Wednesday on the Piazza in front of the building. Any other shopping option is just a view minutes walk.
The reknown Corso Umberto of Taormina (3 - 5 minutes walk), all sites, monuments, bars and restaurants are located in the vicinity of the apartment and can be reached within a short walking distance.
In front of the condo there is the bus stop of the shuttle bus (Linea Verde) which gets you to the train station, the bus terminal and the beach Isola Bella.
So you may even don't need a car staying in Taormina and getting around.
For people who like hiking or biking the apartment is a great starting point. The hiking path to Castelmola (sentiero Saraceno) starts just 200 meters from the apartment away. Those who have a bike may leave it in the garage of the condo.
All the sights, restaurants, bars and night life are within proximity yet without having any disturbance.

I am originally from Munich Germany but am living in Taormina since many years. Once you come to Taormina you will experience the mystic spirit this place has. Once experienced it's hard to return home so I decided to simply stay in one of the most beautiful places I know.
I degreed in Germany in economics and in engineering and gained my Phd in Austria. I work since many years in the information technology business which gives me the opportunity to work "where my computer is" .
Being married with an italian I love cooking and enjoying live in its best way.

We had agreat week in the apartment. Lots of room and great exercise to walk up and down the five floors. The view was great from the balconies.
Great apartment, clean and nicely furnished with fabulous views and a great location. The lady who met us couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. You need to be active as there are a lot of stairs but the views are phenomenal and we liked the exercise after all the indulgence of good Italian food.
The apartment was spacious but not 4 star.
The 3rd bedroom was bunk beds, adequate for children and not a married couple.
The 4th bedroom was tiny with only a single bed. We used it as a closet.
The elevator had the shaft but no elevator. For 5 stories this is not adequate.
The rest of the space(kitchen and living room) was very good. Watch out for the ceiling supports as they are angled and not at adult height.
Overall the apartment rates a 3 star as it is near the center of Taormina.
This apartment was spacious and nicely decorated with beautiful views. Our friends and us enjoyed the proximity of the place to town and local sites. Their were only two drawbacks: the kitchen was very small for people like us who enjoy cooking and the only coffee maker was for one cup (we were four). The owner's house manager was very kind and brought us another coffee pot and some kitchen towels which we did not have at the outset. The other drawback was the many steps we had to climb. This place would not be good for someone who had walking and climbing issues. We didn't mind as it was good exercise. We loved the fact that each couple had their own private bath. We highly recommend this apartment. The owner was very attentive to our questions before we arrived and easy to communicate with. The photos were very accurate. We loved the artwork on the walls.

It is very beautiyful, spacious and offers really absolutely stunning views on Taormina, Mount Etna and the coast line.
The apartment is fully renovated, clean, air conditioned, with great terraces, well kept and very tasteful decored.
It' s in a perfect position for accessing the city centre. Everything can be reached within a very short walking distance, nevertheless the surrounding is peaceful and silent.
One of the major advantages is, that there is public parking (at no charge) in front of the condo. It is important to understand, that one can't park anywhere in Taormina. So having a parking right in front of the condo is a tremendous gain in comfort.

We had a fantastic week in Taormina and this lovely apartment became our home from home. It's near enough to the town that you can walk everywhere, as long as you don't mind some uphill. The rooms are comfortable and the whole flat well equipped with everything we needed. There are a lot of stairs up to the flat so we all came back having had a good leg workout! The views from the balcony across the sea and the town are amazing, and it became part of our morning routine to look out of the window to see what Etna was up to. The owner, Mike, is very friendly and helpful. We would definitely go back to Taormina and to this apartment.

The same bus connects you also with the beach bus which leaves each hour from Taormina old town (Porta Messina) and gets you to the various other beaches within proximity.
