There are a host of reasons to stay at Casanadine. its nearness to the beaches and some of the best restaurants in the area, its convenience to doctors pharmacies paper shops patisserie hairdresser beautician bus routes gymnasium, all of the above are 3 to 4 minutes stroll away.

What makes this apartment unique

During their years of self employment they took very few holidays. However in the latter years they came across Moraira purely by luck and decided quite quickly that this would be their first choice for an early retirement. They love the lush surroundings and the ambience of the area, its ease of access to airports and motorway yet the tranquillity it offers when you arrive.

Would highly recommend the apartment.

Very nice modern apartment great location for a walk along the seafront and restaurants nearby. We sat out on the balcony overlooking the pool and sea views. Very nice helpful couple who own the apartment and would definately like to return in the future.

Fabulous apartment with everything we needed to make our stay complete.

We had a wonderful few days and the apartment had everything that we needed. We were met by very friendly owners who made themselves available should we need anything. Situated in a very convenient area, easy walking distance to lovely restaurants and bars. We will definitely return.

Lovely Property

This is a very well equipped apartment with a great view to the sea. The apartment is well situated for local restaurants and is about a 15-20 minutes walk into the main town of Moraira, where there are lots more cafe, restuarants shops etc. The local beach a couple of minutes away is really nice with sunbeds etc for hire. The apartment is smart and well decorated and super clean and there is lots of storage space for 2 people, the bathroom too. Nice to have both bath and shower (plenty of hot water). The balcony is great for sitting with coffee and breakfast in the morning and martinis in the evening! The swimming pool (though not used by us) is kept clean and enjoyed by others whilst we were there. The apartment has its' own sunbeds and parasol to enjoy in the pool area.

Jim and Nadine will make you feel very welcome and the wine coffee etc provided on arrival was much appreciated as is the free WIFI and English Freeview TV. We have no hesitation in recommending Casanadine

This superb property is all and above of its description .

The owners have a warm, yet professional approach with the email contact . They give a comprehensive overview of the property and surrounding area, besides answering any queries "outside the box".

The apartment is very modern with lots of individual quirks to give it that individual feel. We loved sitting the balcony gazing over the view, which has more than a partial sea view. The pool was very quiet, we always had into ourselves . Should mention the friendly neighbour downstairs.

Jim and Nadine ensure that everything is in place, including a trip to the supermarket. Some supplies, coffee, beer and wine etc were in the cupboards/fridge to greet us We ran out of time to try out all the eateries Jim mentioned!

Even at this time in the peak season we found Moraira , especially the area around Casanadine , offered us a relaxing, comfortable holiday without the trashing commercialism that is evident in many resorts.

After a few days we decided that this resort and apartment will go on our holiday list.

Moraira (Valencian pronunciation: [moˈɾajɾa]) is a small, upmarket Spanish coastal town, part of Teulada (also known as Teulada-Moraira) municipality, in the Marina Alta comarca, 80 km north of Alicante and 100 km south of Valencia. It is a tourist resort on the Costa Blanca strip, with 8 km of coastline backed by mountains and vineyards.

The permanent population of Moraira in the northern Costa Blanca, Spain is around 10,000, although this rises to 36,000 in summer. There is a high proportion of expatriates living here permanently, and the area is very popular with affluent retirees, especially English. The majority of visitors to Moraira are Spanish, English, German, Dutch, and French.[citation needed]

Moraira’s historic roots as a fishing village are still in evidence; its fish market is one of the most popular in the Costa Blanca region and the port has five fishing boats in operation. The Moraira region is also famous for the growing of Muscatel grapes for wine-making.

However, the economy of Moraira is now built around tourism and Spanish property sales that have transformed the coastline over the past 30 years. Strict planning regulations have prevented over development and high rise buildings, making it a highly desirable destination. Little remains of the fishing cottages that once made up the little port that serviced the town of Teulada that stands at the head of the valley. To preserve the heritage of the area, the Teulada council passed laws protecting the abundant pine trees and limited the height of buildings. It has a privately owned marina built in 1985, operated by Club Náutico Moraira. Moraira is also seen as a culinary destination, with many restaurants. Moraira has three sandy beaches popular with families, and many rocky coves and inlets frequented by snorkelers and scuba divers.

Yacht club Moraira The yacht club, “Club Náutico” has 620 embarkation points. Year in and year out it receives the “Blue Flag” of the European Community. It includes an association club which is provided with restaurants and shops. Also in summer they have sailing courses and regattas. The championship of the district for open sea yachts is held at Easter, the regatta “Moraira Santa Eulalia” takes place at the end of September.

Climate in Moraira Moraira boasts a very stable Mediterranean climate with approximately 300 sunny days a year. Surrounded by mountains it keeps away strong winds and also protects the village for heat waves. The summers are hot, the winters mild. The seawater temperature during the summer months is up to 25 degrees. It hardly rains during the months July-August.
