Moordale is a property that we have stayed at countless times throughout the last few years, and it is excellent. Comfort and cleanliness would be hard to beat and its location is ideal for all amenities in Reeth. You can park up your car as numerous walks

start from the village. A wonderful base which we would definitely recommend to anyone.

A great little house in a great location

  • 5 of 5

I have stayed at Moordale Cottage twice it is very well equipped and clean in a very quiet location just a few minutes from the centre of the village. I stayed during the winter and the house was very warm and especially cosy when the fire was lit. The location is great with shops, pubs and cafes a few minutes walk away and wonderful country walks from the doorstep. I used the cottage as a quiet place to work in the week but it was also ideal for my family at the weekend with plenty of space for 4 people. Peter and Lorna could not have been more helpful and I felt very welcome. I am sure I will be back again!

Cosy, well-appointed and perfectly located

  • 5 of 5

This was a perfect retreat for us and we spent Christmas at the cottage. Lorna was really helpful and ensured we had everything we needed. The cottage is welcoming, warm and comfortable and we felt very much at home.

It is very well located - an easy walk to the village stores and pubs and there are lots of lovely walks from the doorstep. We would love to come back!
