Why Denise Sinclair chose Lamlash

We loved Jubilee the moment we saw her, our hearts were stolen by her stunning view of the bay. The cottage is elevated from the village, on a quiet cul de sac overlooking Lamlash Bay, Holy Isle, the shore and village but in 2 minutes you are at the beach and all the amenities Lamlash Village has to offer with the varied coffee shops, bars and restaurants.

What makes this cottage unique

Romantic cosy cottage with amazing views and close to all amenities but in a peaceful location.

A stunning hideaway in a perfect location

  • 5 of 5

The cottage itself is absolutely gorgeous. From the bright airy rooms to the cosy fireplace it impressed us from the minute we arrived.

The cottage is well equipped with everything you could need and more. The location is central to all the local amenities and a stone's throw from the beach. We were definitely kept fit walking up the hill from the Pierhead Tavern!

This felt like a home away from home with the added extras of a stunning view over Lamlash and some wildlife visitors each day. The birdfeeders attracted some beautiful birds and even a red squirrel one morning! Frequently pheasants appeared in the lane and we loved looking out of the windows for them.

We would love to return to this cottage next year for another stay. Absolutely delighted to have found such a beautiful place.

The picture postcard cottage is just as pretty as it looks on the web site

Jubilee Cottage Lamlash Arran

The picture postcard cottage is just as pretty as it looks on the web site and the wide views of Lamlash bay and Holy Isle are breath-taking.

The cottage is very well equipped with everything you need, and the log burner adds a romantic touch on a cold evening. Bedrooms are cosy and comfortable with crisp linen, throws and pillows and the Wi-Fi signal is strong throughout so streaming is not any problem. A good washing machine and tumbler drier helps too after muddy climbs. The seating area outside is a haven for birds and the native red squirrels clamber in the adjacent trees. The cottage has its own little front garden area where you can watch sunsets over the bay. One of the best equipped cottages we have stayed in and the views are simply stunning. Would definitely recommend and give 5-star rating.

beautiful little cottage, stunning views of Lamlash

  • 5 of 5

comfortable, well maintained cottage, perfect for a couple with one child. Very steep hill to walk up (or drive) to reach property, but this gives stunning views across Lamlash bay.

Very comfortable holiday cottage for a couple or small family.

  • 4 of 5

Really quiet and peaceful over Christmas given neighbouring properties unoccupied. Lucky with mostly good weather too for the time of year. Wonderful views. Village very accessible on foot. No negatives to report. Will use again if possible.

Beautiful cottage in an idyllic locatin

  • 5 of 5

This was our first stay at Jubilee cottage although we have been holidaying in Arran for 18 years and i have to say that Jubilee cottage is the nicest cottage we have stayed in. My daughter did say she thought the new Auchrannie lodges were nicer as they are really modern but the Auchrannie doesn't have the stunning open views of Lamlash bay and Holy Isle that Jubilee cottage enjoys. It's a beautiful little cottage very well equipped and with fantastic outdoor space - lovely front and rear gardens and a patio. The location is superb - a stones throw from the beach and Lamlash's bars and hotels, but at the same time up a quiet dead-end meaning there is no through traffic. We will definitely be back.
