I myself ride motorcycles and the Lake District offers some of the most fantastic roads and scenery you will find in the UK. We have been married for many years (since 1979) and have two children (now adults themselves!) who share our love of the Lake District. Great , Location even better

We stayed here for 4 nights , the accommodation in perfectly located right in the middle of Bowness . Apartment is very comfortable everything you could need . The location is fantastic , literally come out of the apartment turn left walk 50 yrds down the steps and your right in the middle of everything , Nice little pub John Peel , turn left and get into THE ALBERT stunning food great atmosphere . Some very good Indian restaurants and Thai . We are definitely returning , GREAT ACCOMODATION , GREAT LOCATION . Very highly recommended

Great location

This was our third stay in this apartment it gets better every time the location is great smack in the middle of Bowness good pub's some great restaurants all close by the weather was good that's a bonus we will definitely will return.

Lovely Holiday Let

Just returned from our second holiday in this apartment and we were again very pleased with our stay. The property is very clean and comfortable, with everything you need for a short break. The location is fantastic being right in the centre of Bowness but also in a quiet block and we loved sitting out on the balcony. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

Owner's Response: So glad you enjoyed your stay in the apartment. The Lake District is such a beautiful place to visit. I believe one the best aspects of the balcony if you return to the apartment around 16:00 on a sunny day, the sun is just appearing overhead which makes it perfect to relax after being out all day.

Apartment is really nice everything you need, the location is also fantastic as everything is right on your doorstep , took our dog also very dog friendly area for anyone thinking of going , nearly every pub, shop and restaurants welcome dogs in , would defo recommend

We have been coming to the Lake District for some 35 years now and it has never failed to deliver. Whether its spring, summer, autumn or winter it always delivers something new to see and enjoy. The choice of restaurants bars/pubs shops and activities is second to none.

Travel:

Windermere train station approximately 2 miles from Bowness, Taxi and bus services available from train station. Approximately 30 minutes walk from the station.

Further Details:

Taxis, bus services, local food stores, banks/cash machines, pubs/bars, restaurants, Lake side sailing, Cinema, Tennis, Beatrix Potter museum, Luxury shopping all within a short stroll of the apartment. Booths super-store located at the top of Windermere village.

Deposit payment required on confirmation of the letting date (not refundable if within six weeks of letting date) Deposit & final payment via bank transfer. Changeover Day:
Arrival time 03:OOpm on the first letting date booked. Vacate the apartment by 10:00am the following morning from the last letting date booked. Change over day is variable.

Notes on prices:
Pets are charged at £5 per-night. Towels & bed linen charged at £10 per-room

Deposit payment £70 once confirmed, refundable up to six weeks before start date. Full payment required four weeks before start date none refundable. If booking is less than four weeks in advance then full payment required. All payments are by bank transfer.

  • Notes on accommodation: Well behaved pets are accepted at an extra cost The apartment is non-smoking. Outside: The apartment complex benefits from a fully externally maintained private services and as such has well maintained garden borders trees & drive paths/footways. The lower two apartment blocks including mine are set on an incline (not steep) and should be accessible to most. Access is a cul-de-sac for vehicles but guest can enter from three access points on foot. The bottom access point leads you right into the centre of Bowness as does the access from the top level. Private car parking facility is also available for Quarry Rigg guests is accessed via the main carpark at the top of the complex as you approach from the rear. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Towels & bed linen not included but can be provided at an extra cost per room £10. The apartment is cleaned throughout before arrival and is expected to be left clean and tidy upon vacation. Other: Hallway with coat hanging facility & airing cupboard for extra storage. Balcony with two modern rattan chairs and coffee table. Pot plants
