This nice villa is situated in Quinta das Salinas, between Vale de Lobo en Quinta do Lago. The villa has sea view, a large garden and a private swimming pool which can be heated (additional costs €150 p.w.). The wifi is excellent and also works on the terrace part, close to the house. The pool can be fenced off for small children. The villa has 1 masterbedroom upstairs, 3 bedrooms on the ground floor and 1 au-pairroom with bathroom in the basement.

The villa is very comfortable and completely furnished with a dining kitchen, fully equipped (with an oven, microwave, dishwasher, nespresso coffee-maker, toast maker, mixer etc). In the pantry you will find a washing machine, a drying machine and an extra refrigerator. The villa is equipped with hot-air heating, which means that it is comfortable in every season. The beach is located at walking distance of 10 min. and shops and restaurants are nearby. The well-known fish restaurant "2 Passos" is located at the beach of Praia do Ancão. The famous golf courses of Quinta do Lago and Vale do Lobo can be reached by car within 10 minutes. São Lorenzo Golf, Pinheiros Altos Golf Course. All 5 bathrooms have been renewed recently.

The basement au-pair room with own bathroom is included in the price but is not as nice as the other rooms.

Why Mrs Dekker chose Faro

This property was the first to be build in Quinta das Salinas. It has a much bigger garden/property and gives more privacy. Next to that, the villa is very suitable for families with (small) children because of the pool fence, optional water slide, and au pair room in the basement with private bathroom.

The interior of the house has been updated with nice furniture and new bathrooms.

Notes on accommodation: Please do not smoke inside and do not sit with wet swimwear on the inside sofas nor outside lounge set. The chloral leaves huge stains. Safe is available. Property has an electronic gate and fence around the large terrain. Outside: The outside terrace has a large stone table for 10 persons, next to the barbecue. The covered terrace has a 8 persons dining table and a fantastic new lounge set. 8 comfortable sunbeds can be used on the terrace or next to the pool. There is always a shady part under the trees next to the pool. Waterslide at own risk optional (stored in garage). The swimming pool can be heated (additional costs 150 euros per week) but in summer months not needed. On request a small fence can be installed to keep small children from the pool area. Plenty of toys are in the basement closet. A jeu de boules court is in the garden. The house is on the hill so always has a bit of wind, with makes it comfortable in warm summer months. Utility Room: The pantry has a washing machine, a drying machine, ironing set and an extra refrigerator. The villa has grey towels to use outside and white towels for the bathrooms. Once per week the beds are changed. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Grey towels for terrace and pool, white towels for bathrooms. Other coloured towels can be used for the beach. Missing towels are deducted from the deposit. Maid service 2 times a week. Check in 4pm. Check out 10am Other: The cellar has an official table tennis court and a table football

A beautiful villa in superb location

We were a family of 8 adults and two small children and had a wonderful holiday here at the end of October. The villa is very spacious and a well loved family home. It had everything we could have wished for and more . The pool was warm and clean, the house and bathrooms were immaculate. Everyone had their own bathroom which was perfect. Lovely to have space in the garden and a beautiful patio to have bbqs and watch the sunset. Fun times with the table tennis table too!! A well equipped kitchen and plenty of different areas to relax. Thank you for a wonderful few days.

Overall: perfect... two weeks!

The house is great, we already knew this having stayed there twice before. This time, with new management (fantastic Monique) and refurbished bathrooms, it's just perfect. Spacious, comfortable, close to the beach, excellent pool. My only concern is it will have too many request for the future being such a good property. It is a guaranteed place for our whole family for 2 weeks each summer.

a fantastic holiday home!!

We spent with our family (6 adults and 3 grandchildren age 3, 4 and 7) one week in May in this wonderful house.

The house lies in a large private property with a lot of privacy. It is a house very appropriate to live there for a large group. It is set very cosy and is fully equipped; all the bedrooms have bathrooms.

Once a week the house is cleaned and the swimmingpool is regularly checked; the garden too is very well kept.

The grandchildren had in the garden a safe playing ground. The pool too was secured with a fence for the little ones. There are cupboards filled with toys.

The greeting by the hostess was very cordial; she gave lots of advice and is standing by if neccesary.

The beach is not far away, approximately 10 minutes by car; the lake at walking distance. Supermarket 10 minutes by car.

We enjoyed very much this beautifull house en had a fantastic week.

Superb villa with lots of little extras

Four adults and four teenage boys for two weeks

Beautiful villa, fantastic outdoor area, great kitchen, comfortable beds ..... the place was absolutely perfect. Lots of extras that made the place feel like home.

Nice 10-12 min walk to great beach

You do need a car for shopping and to get to restaurants though The Shack and beach restaurants are walkable.

Wonderful villa, brilliantly appointed, clean, with a really friendly and helpful agent. Because of its excellent location it is a great place if you like plane spotting! Can't easily walk to a beach, but it is not far to drive.

On the down side there was barely a day when there wasn't someone doing some sort of maintenance to the property. (Pool, electrics, gardening x 2, cleaning). Pool heating and cleaning costs are really high, though.

We always try to improve things. We do invest a lot in maintenance which means we have the pool cleaned once a week and the 6000m2 garden does take some maintenance but it also gives you perfect view. The maid comes once a week (next to the end cleaning) and only after discussing which day is convient. Thank you for staying with us.

Lovely house near the beach

This is a lovely house, only a ten minute scenic walk from the beach. The house is very large, with nice, spacious bedrooms and numerous bathrooms. Large kitchen with all kitchen appliances and a utility room with a washer and dryer. Outside, a pool and playing area in the large private garden, a BBQ area and several comfortable places to sit and relax on the terras, or lie by the pool. Great place to stay when travelling with more than one familiy. The house also has an appartment separate from the main living quarters where a nanny could stay.

Booking Notes:
Enquiries by email on Monday-Thursday will be answered the next day. On Friday and in the weekend on Monday. Enquiries by phone on Monday-Thursday mornings.
