Marvellous!

Very comfortable and well located property. Can't think of anything it lacked. We had a wonderful week in Fowey and would highly recommend the property and the area.

Fabulous house

  • 5 of 5

We were very pleased and impressed with the house which was tastefully decorated, spotlessly clean and very comfortable and relaxing. The location is fabulous with great views of the estuary and easy walking distance to Fowey centre.

We would wholeheartedly recommend this property.

Charming cottage with a wonderful view

  • 5 of 5

This was our first holiday in Fowey and very much look forward to returning again. The cottage is beautifully presented and furnished with everything we needed for our stay. It has been very tastefully updated whilst retaining its original charm. Fowey has many attractions, the highlights include the short walk to Readymoney Cove, stocking up on the scones and pasties from the local bakeries (don't forget the home-made fudge shop in Fowey), rock-pooling and windsurfing on Polkerris beach and sitting on the terrace watching the boats go by on the estuary. We would highly recommend staying at "Out of the Blue".

A little Gem

  • 5 of 5

Loved this cottage, but not suitable for people who find stairs or steps a problem. Luckily we didn't! It was beautifully fitted out, with everything you could want. The heating was very efficient and the heated floor in the bathroom was a treat! The Decor was lovely and very Cornish. The cottage was clean and the bedding smelt wonderful! I can't praise this cottage enough. The view was lovely and over looking the river, so always something to catch your eye. Passers by seemed quite envious of where we were staying. The kitchen was very well equipped and having a dishwasher and washer/dryer a bonus. We loved it!

The only hitch was what to do with our rubbish when we left to go home as we were asked to remove it, so had to put it in the seagull protection bag. We just didn't know where we could take it to dispose of it. Perhaps some information on where to put it would be a useful addition to the guest information book - which had everything else you could need in.

Fantastic stay in Fowey

  • 5 of 5

The house was decorated to an extremely high standard with sea side themed furnishings and every ammeniety that you could possibly wish for. Beautiful decor, gleaming posts and pans, luxurious cushions bedding and blankets, dreamy views, fluffy towels, warm rooms, a real haven in the beautiful village of Fowey. Master bedroom and living room were excellent vantage points to watch the boats on the river and the bath was fantastic for soaking tired legs after stunning cliff walks. We were spoilt for choice in Fowey with a range of independent tea rooms and pubs. Whenever we went friendly staff served us the most excellent cream teas, lunches and evening meals. The three days we were here in March had wall to wall sunshine and the views from our cliff walks were stunning. A massive thank you to Debbie and Chris who provided excellent service from the point of booking and throughout our stay. We had to call Chris with a query during our stay and he responded very quickly, we felt very well cared for!

Fabulous stay in Fowey

  • 5 of 5

"Out of the Blue" is a lovely cottage, full of character and in a great location.

It was very well equipped and very clean. We were really pleased to be able to sit by the fire and watch the boats go by.

It was everything we hoped for and we will be recommending it to friends. Would love to return in the future.

Many thanks for a fantastic break.
