Coedfa is an unique property which stands elevated SW facing and the views are breath taking looking up the Lledr Valley, its 3/4 acre garden and down towards the Waterloo Bridge.

Both properties are full of Victorian Charm and history, even has the 'old bell system' to call the servants!! Slate floors, marble fireplace, stone inglenooks, tasteful furniture and decor. The house has room for 4 cars and the cottage for 2 cars.

We have returned home to Cambridge after the most wonderful stay at Coedfa Bach. I just wanted to email and say a huge thank you. The cottage was amazing, the welcome cake and all facilities were spot on. I can't tell how relaxing, beautiful and homely the whole experience was. The beds were so very comfortable the decoration and history behind the pictures and photographs were fab really got the children talking and asking questions about the building and it's history, my only regret is that we couldn't stay longer due to work commitments.

Fingers crossed we will be booking with you again soon to explore more of North Wales and stay in your wonderful cottage.

Many thanks again it was truly an amazing stay for myself, husband, two teenage children and dog.

Oct 2015-Thank you for letting us stay in your wonderful house. It was so fantastic walking in on Friday night after a long journey. The bedrooms are lovely and beds the most comfortable I have slept in! Loved all your furnishing and could get used to the AGA! our visla loved curling up next to the warmth of the Aga too. Fantastic area to visit and would definitely come back ! boys enjoyed Bounce Below and would recommend it.

Sept 2015- Warm and comfortable with a 'grand' feel-interesting and unusual features to be discovered in every room. A perfect base to suit us all-spectacular walks, mountain biking and pool-thank you. We will go home refreshed.

Coedfa House and Bach stands elevated and south westerly, overlooking the Llugwy Valley and its delightful river, within walking distance of Betws y coed with its quality cafes, shops and restaurants. Included is free use of leisure facilities at a nearby hotel (5 min walk) pool, gym, sauna, steam and jacuzzi. Coedfa is a large spacious Victorian property (sleeps 8) with high ceilings, tastefully and personally decorated. Bedrooms boasts 4 poster bed, half tester bed and cast iron beds. 2 en-suite. Feature fireplaces in bedrooms and wood-burner in lounge, original slate and wooden floors, sweeping oak staircase. Coedfa Bach is the old workers cottage which is attached to the main house. Cosy and full of charter with beams, slate and wooden floor, feature fireplaces in bedrooms and wood burner in lounge. Both properties share 3/4 acre garden with a stream. Access onto footpath from the garden onto rambling hill side. Elevated above main road, walking distance to train station. We can join both houses to sleep 12 people

About the Owner

My name is Beth Evans. My husband and I are the proud owners of Coedfa Cottages.

We bought the property in 2000 and updated the property to a high standard. (Agency and Visit Wales grading is 5 star on the main house and 4 star on the cottage)

The house and cottage are tastefully and personally decorated. Coedfa was our marital home and we worked hard to refurbish its current state. The property stands South westerly enjoying fabulous view of the Lledr Valley, Waterloo Bridge and towards Lake Elsie.

Coedfa is a Victorian House which retains much original charm, set in the glorious Snowdonia National Park. The 3/4 acre terraced garden with its own stream, alfresco on the patio with its summer house. The house stands proudly and is facing South Westerly. It is within walking distance of Betws Y Coed with its classy shops, cafes and restaurants. Footpaths lead from the garden onto rambling hill walking around the village and up to the lakes, within walking distance to the bike hire shop where there are maze of cycle routes. The leisure facilities (which are included) are a huge bonus. We are within walking distance of the new zip lines in Betws Y Coed, 20 min from Surf Snowdonia, half hr from Zip World, Bounce Bellow to name but a few. Also the beaches from the North of Wales to the Lleyn Peninsula to the fabulous Harlech-Mid Wales are all within half an hour by car.
