Turnbers Cottage sleeps 4 people and is a popular and cosy cottage full of character.
Turnbers Cottage has a beautifully appointed and well equipped kitchen and a cosy living room that leads out on to the patio. The twin room is on the ground floor and a little further along the corridor is a modern bathroom with shower. Wooden stairs lead up to a wonderfully private, ensuite double room, which has extensive views over to Newton Grange and the surrounding countryside. Perfect for couples and families, Turnbers is a delightful cottage that we highly recommend.
Newly refurbished in 2015, Newton Grange Holiday Cottages provide modern amenities and comfort in a delightful setting in the Yorkshire Dales. The historic barn and byres have been sympathetically converted to provide attractive and comfortable self catering accommodation in well equipped holiday cottages near Skipton. Individual cottages sleep between 2 and 6 people. A wonderful location for family holidays with lots of outside space and room to play. Marvel at the arrival of new lambs in springtime as they skip along in the Home Meadow. From the cottages enjoy exploring the canal tow-path and watch colourful barges travel along the Leeds Liverpool Canal. Enjoy sitting back on the patio on a summer’s evening as you take in the fabulous scenery. With a network of footpaths and bridleways from the doorstep and the vibrant market town of Skipton just 5 miles away, this is a brilliant location to explore from. Sorry, but unfortunately we do not take pets.
Newton Grange is a family farming business that has diversified over the years to provide guest accommodation in the converted farm buildings and renovated farmhouse. Rachael lives on site with her husband Rob, and manages the holiday cottage and bed and breakfast accommodation, together with her parents John and Catherine.
Newton Grange Cottages are situated in a lovely peaceful location 5 miles from Skipton in the Yorkshire Dales. Nestled between the rolling drumlin hills the cottages are a stone's throw from the pretty Leeds Liverpool Canal, a lovely place for a short stroll along the towpath.
It is a wonderfully relaxing location, yet just over 10 minutes from the bustling market town of Skipton and a great choice for exploring Settle, Malham, Grassington and the Yorkshire Dales. Newton Grange is less than 30 minutes drive from Gisburn Forest in the Forest of Bowland, with its popular mountain bike trails.
We love to be able to walk and cycle from the doorstep, joining the Pennine Way or canal towpath, and enjoying a circular walk to East Marton or Gargrave, with their teashops and Yorkshire charm.
The holiday cottages have been converted to a high standard and enjoy a peaceful setting surrounded by farmland with sheep quietly grazing. Guests visit at all times of year. In springtime it's lovely to see the new lambs being born and skipping along in the fields.
