The Stables 6 Bedrooms (Sleeps 8)
The Stables originally was the stables for the working horses on the farm and was converted in 2002 and is now an upside down property with 6 bedrooms on the ground floor one twin/double, one double and 4 singles all with quality beds and en-suite with good power showers,loo and wash basin.
Upstairs the Stables Studio has a huge open plan area with at one end a fully fitted kitchen with washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, oven and hob with dining area which looks out onto the farmstead. The other end of the upstairs has 3 leather sofas and flat screen TV .All bed linen and towels are provided. The property is fully oil central heated.

About the Owner
About Mr T Kendall
We have been farming here for four generations. We have sheep and a few Dexter cattle. We are custodians of the countryside, love our environment and have three children: architect, ecologist and farmer. Tim studied at Seale Hayne and Sally has a Humanities degree. We live in a beautiful part of the county and have interests in textiles food.
Mr T Kendall purchased this cottage in 1947

We have had many painting and textile courses in the Stables/Studio.While we do not organize the details of the course ( done by the tutor ) we provide the facilities.
Their is a beach on the farm called Colona which is 25 minute walk from the farmhouse.
Gorran haven beach is 45 minute walk or 8 minutes drive to a good car park with loos and shops.
Portmellon cove is 10 minute walk down the road and 15minute walk back up the hill coming home.
Porthluney beach is 10 minutes drive next to Caerhays castle.
Newquay airport is 50 minutes drive.
Exeter airport is 1 hour 45 minutes drive.
St.Austell railway station is 15 minutes drive , with car hire at beech motors car hire (01726 74743 ).
We are 1 hour 30 minutes from Exeter services and 4 hour to the M25 juc. M4
Mevagissey is 1 mile
St.Austell is 7 miles
Truro is 17 miles
The fishing village of Mevagissey has a selection of shops and restaurants including a bakery ,grocers, post office and a Lloyds bank (open Mon,Tue,Wed mornings ).
In the other direction Gorran has a small village shop and a good pub The Barlry Sheaf .
St.Austell has a selection of supermarkets Tesco,Asda,Co-op. etc. of which Tesco and Asda do delivery services to Bodrugan.
Their are multi-screen cinemas in St.Austell and Truro.

We have the facility on our own website to take bookings on-line but if you prefer we can take bookings over the phone . If you wish to book a short break or anything other than a weekly Friday to Friday we need to take the booking over the phone.
We take a deposit of 30% to secure the booking and the balance is due 8 weeks prior to arrival.Payments can be by card, cheque, or bank transfer.
Our main change over day is Friday but outside of the main season we can do 3 and 4 day breaks doing change overs on Fridays and Mondays.
30% deposit when booking . Balance payable 6 weeks before holiday.
