Luxurious, fully air conditioned apartment with 2 bedrooms, (1 double, 1 twin) 2 bathrooms, both with WC, shower, bath & vanity unit. Fans in each bedroom and on balcony. Spacious lounge, Smart TV with UK channels, DVD and music system, Internet with Wi-Fi. 2&3 seater sofas - larger sofa converts to a double sofa bed for additional sleeping if required (additional £50 charge per week) Dining table seats 6. The kitchen is fully equipped with fridge/ freezer, dishwasher, oven, hob & microwave with cutlery, crockery, glassware and cooking utensils provided. Utility area houses a washing machine, iron & board. The bedrooms have fitted wardrobes, hair-dryers & a safe. The large patio can be accessed from the lounge & bedrooms. Here you can dine and relax on another 6 seater table or relax on comfortable lounge sofa and chairs whilst overlooking the main infinity pool. The second pool enjoys late afternoon sun. About David Jepson

Kathy and I have been coming to Cyprus for about 15 years and 10 years ago we decided to buy our own little piece of Cyprus. So in 2007 we took ownership of our new-build apartment on Hesperides Gardens. What a lovely complex ! Very relaxing and home from home. We are both still working, but our plan is to go out to Cyprus more in our retirement. For now, we would like you to share our experience of our living, together with the wonderful selection of restaurants and bars and beautiful scenery, which in turn will help pay towards the running costs.

Why David Jepson chose Universal

Good central position means that we can go down to the harbour or equally to the old town in a very short space of time.

Cyprus is in some ways very English, such as the 3 pin sockets are the same, they drive on the same side of the road and it is so green and pretty, which I don't understand with all the fantastic weather at all times of year.

What makes this apartment unique

Our apartment is a 'home from home' with all the mod cons. Hopefully we have thought of everything, but please give us feedback if there is something that we can improve on

Notes on accommodation: Hesperides Gardens is centrally located between the old town, the harbour area and The Tomb of the Kings and there are 2 mini markets within 5 minutes walk. 15 minutes from Paphos airport and an ideal base for exploring Cyprus. Three golf courses within 15km of apartment and beaches and the modernised harbour area are within 5 minutes drive. Plenty of good quality restaurants to choose from catering for all tastes, many within a few minutes drive. Solar panels heat the water (with back-up immersion for the occasional cloudy day) and a lift is available. Lots of lovely villages and other sights to see both locally and further afield. We can provide recommendations for places to visit and restaurants to try, depending on your taste. Air conditioning units in living room and both bedrooms convert to heating units in the colder months Outside: 2 infinity pools with long steps down into the large pool. both are very relaxing and on a hot summers day, that is where you will want to be Utility Room: Utility area houses a washing machine, iron and board and more storage for towels and sheets. Duvets available if required Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Bathroom towels and linen are included - please bring your own beach towels. The property will be cleaned prior to your stay with fresh laundry. Spare towels and laundry available. If a mid term clean is required, this can be arranged, payable locally Other: The balcony is very large having room for another 6 seater table and chairs, comfortable lounge sofa and chairs with ceiling fans above to help you cool down on a hot evening

Excellent Accomodation

Very comfortable, nicely furnished and fully equipped apartment. The apartment complex Hesperides includes a large swimming pool area and well kept gardens. Centrally situated close to all the necessary amenities i.e. modern shopping mall, local shops, Paphos old town, port and restaurants. Beaches are close by. Good bus and taxi options if you do not have a car.

Amazing home from home

The apartment is quite lovely. Spacious, airy, spotlessly clean with everything you would have at home. Very roomy compared to many we say and in lovely surroundings. The balcony virtually overlooks the pool and there are trees, plants and greenery all around the pool which again is unique compared to many we saw in our party. Beds are beautifully comfortable and kitchen has everything you would need. Within easy walk of harbour, eating places and shops. Taxi to main area 7 Euro. I cannot say anything negative and thoroughly recommend this apartment. Thank you David.

Another restful stay at this delightful apartment

My wife and I have stayed in David’s and Kathy’s apartment several times in the past. It is always beautifully clean and very well maintained. We’ve said this before, and will say again - its like Home from Home. Having recently had a major operation, I welcomed the opportunity to get some restful time to recouperate. The complex at Hesperides Gardens is lovely an quiet and we spent a lot of the time relaxing by the pool. The pool area and water is always clean and regularly patrolled by a security guard - not that he’s needed, but nice to know he’s there.

Also, its comforting to know that David and Kathy have purchased a set of sun loungers for exclusive use of their guests which are under lock and key by the pool - so no worries over the availability of loungers!

Unable to drive at the moment, we spent more time walking in Paphos which was delightful. We found a few new restaurants worthy of mention (new to us that is). We found Gabor, and Ficardo serve particularly good food at a range of prices to suit all pockets and tastes.

Thank you very much to David and Kathy for keeping such an excellent apartment and being so helpful.

A Fantastic Family Holiday Apartment

This has been our fourth stay at Fairhaven apartment in Hespirides Gardens, Paphos. As usual it was a fantastic family holiday. The apartment is spacious, clean and a real 'home from home'. Everything that you may need is provided and the owners are always helpful and available. The swimming pool is large and clean. The apartment itself is a short taxi ride or 20 minute walk away from the beautiful Harbour area which is full of restaurants, bars and shops. We are sure that we will return for a fifth time in the near future!

Paphos Jewel in the Crown

First impressions of the apartment and location were excellent .....

and it just got better. The apartment is well located, not over looked and within easy access to all the amenities Paphos has to offer without being subjected to the hassle and bustle of the town. The apartment and all the surrounding areas were meticulously clean and the apartment contained every conceivable extra you could wish for to make your stay memorable. There are 2 good sized double bedrooms plus a bed settee in the sizeable lounge. The owners have left nothing to chance, obviously based on experience. There is a wealth of information, contact numbers and web addresses covering everything you could wish to do in Cyprus.The main pool is secluded and there are personal sun beds specific to the apartment.

There are too many restaurants to mention, suffice to say the service and food in them all was superb. The jewel in the town for us was The Last Castle.

In summary, this apartment exceeded all expectations. We have been to Cyprus many times before, but this was by far the most memorable and relaxing.

Very spacious and homely apartment in a great, quiet and safe location

We had a lovely stay at 'Fairhaven' apartment, Hesperides Gardens. The location of the apartment is ideal for either side of paphos harbour and the harbour itself. The apartment itself is like a 'home from home'. It has everything you need and is extremely spacious with a lovely view of the pool and surrounding gardens. The balcony area is very big and you can enjoy an evening meal at the outdoor table, then finish off with a cocktail on the comfy rattan furniture. All main rooms are air conditioned, there is a washing machine and dishwasher which we we found very useful - we barely came home with any washing which is a plus! The complex was very safe is a five minute walk from small shops and a cafe. We would highly recommend this apartment and would certainly return. Better still you are guaranteed sunshine - what more could you wish for!

Coast/Beach:

There are local beaches within walking distance (20 minutes) and it is very popular to swim in the sea quite close to the harbour (near the KFC). Coral Bay is a popular beach destination, but our favourite is Corallia Bay which is a few minutes further on from Coral Bay (if you go on the bus, stay on until the very last stop). There are water sports available at most of these beaches.

If you head towards Limassol there are nice beaches at Pissouri and Kourio and Aphrodites Rock is picturesque

Travel:

Paphos International airport is only 15km away. Take a taxi for 25 to 30 euros and you will be at our apartment within 15 minutes.

Many car hire booths also at the airport

Larnaca airport is about 1 hour 30 minutes drive along the motorway

Car hire is recommended if you want to explore further afield, but the buses also provide a good service. The bus stop is approximately 200 metres from our apartment.

Distances:

A 20 minute walk or 5 minute drive takes you down to the main harbour area with shops, restaurants and bars.

Paphos old town is in a different direction and slightly further.

Coral Bay is about 20 minute drive or you can catch the bus from the harbour.

There is a bus stop about 200 metres from the apartment that takes you to the harbour and beyond if required

Further Details:

A water park is situated a 10 minute drive away and also accessible by bus.

Cyprus is a beautiful destination to get married and a local company carries guests around on an 'open top wedding bus'

We have many recommended sight seeing locations and recommended restaurants in a folder at the apartment

Skiing is available in the Troodos mountains in the winter
