Cottage (Bungalow) in Lymington, New Forest, Hampshire, England - Easy Parking, Established Garden, Close To The High Street

The bungalow is on one level with no internal steps. Bedroom 1 has a kingsize bed with space for a cot and an ensuite shower room. Bedroom 2 has a double bed and access into the conservatory. There is bathroom adjacent. We can provide ramped access to the front door. In the living room there is a double sofa bed with a pocket sprung mattress, there is also a log fire and a piano, as well as a 32'' flat screen TV.The kitchen/dining room has an electric double oven and hob as well as a microwave. It is situated on a very quiet street, within easy walking distance of the town centre with it's excellent pubs, restaurants and lively high street.

(Internet access is available via a dongle, which can be used in conjunction with your own laptop.)

Lovely bungalow in central location

This was a lovely bungalow in a central location, a few minutes walk from Lymington High Street, the Quay and river. The property was very well maintained and the fixtures were of a high quality as were the linens and it was spotlessly clean. It was also nice to have a conservatory to sit in. Everything you would need for a holiday stay was there. There was off road parking which would accommodate two cars if required.

Stephanie, the owner, was very nice and accommodating, if you has a problem, she would be there in a matter of minutes.

All in all, a very nice place to stay.

Clean, comfortable & well placed

I stayed with my partner and our 2 teenage daughters. There was enough space for us to spread out and having 2 loos was a godsend. This is the best equipped and most comfortable property I have ever stayed in. Little touches such as being met at the property with some fresh milk, plenty of towels available, beautiful handmade soap and chocolates on the pillow made the stay special. Being able to sit in the conservatory early in the morning to watch the birds was such a pleasure for me. The owners were very helpful and on hand if needed. I cannot rate this bungalow highly enough.

Comfortable, spacious and convenient

My Mum, sister and I recently stayed in this lovely bungalow for two weeks. It was far more spacious than the pictures suggested, with a large, well-equipped kitchen, two good sized bedrooms, and both a bath and a shower room. It's a two-minute walk to the High Street, five minutes from the station, and we spent several days enjoying the sunshine in the garden and conservatory. The fireplace came in handy for those not quite warm spring evenings.

Steph was very welcoming and always there to answer questions or address concerns. The bungalow is well-maintained and very clean.

I would highly recommend it.

Comfortable and spacious bungalow

We spent a few days here over New Year. We chose it because it had an open fire and we were not disappointed! Logs and kindling were provided by the owners- much appreciated. The accomodation was spotlessly clean and newly decorated. The kitchen and bathroom facilities are new. There are 2 comfortable sofas in the lounge and a 32 inch TV. Both bedrooms are bright and cheery, with the larger one benefitting from an ensuite shower. A spacious conservatory leads from the other bedroom. This is a lovely place to sit and to enjoy the garden which would lend itself to having BBQs in the summer. This is ideal accomodation for 2 couples. You could come here without a car and still get around using public transport. There is safe driveway parking for 2 cars. The owners are easy to communicate with and are keen that guests should have a pleasant stay.

Relaxing

We have just had a lovely stay at Lendor, Great location, Good Walks, handy to shops but very quiet and relaxing locations. We would not hesitate to visit again. Only one thing could improve it, it needs a bigger telly in the lounge, not good on a rainy day to watch action films on such a small screen.

Lymington Gem

We stayed at Lendor in Lymington for 3 nights and found it to be an excellent holiday home; in the main due to the superb location within walking distance of the town with its many bars and restaurants and the mariner. Also the home is very well equipped , has a high standard of cleanliness and is very comfortable. There were four adults in our party and with the separate bathrooms we had a good degree of privacy.

Outside the garden is secure and very pleasant to sit in. We only had the weekend but there is a lot to do in this area and I wish we had been staying longer.

It is close to the town centre, yet spacious (even for a bungalow.)

Activity and Interests

Coast/Beach:

The property is in Lymington, a Market town with a harbour and marinas on the Solent There are some excellent beaches a short drive away.

Travel:

There is parking for two cars; alternatively is is a short (200 yard) walk from the railway station. Lymington Town railway station is on a branch line from Brockenhurst, a mainline station on the Bournemouth to Waterloo line.

Further Details:

Len Dor is also within easy walking distance of the high street, which has many good pubs/restaurants, a Tesco’s and a Waitrose.

Internet access is available via a "dongle" with a USB connector.

It is on a quiet street, which happens to be just 100 yards from the high street. It is about 200 yards to the town quay. It has a large, quiet and secluded garden at the back; and at the front there is parking for two cars on the drive plus one on the verge.
