Tastefully refurbished spacious apartment with large open plan living area. Comfortably accommodates six people in one double bedroom, one bunk-bedded and one twin/double. Leather sofas, large dining table for 6, large flat-screen TV, UK TV channels, DVD player, PS2, WIFI throughout. Central heating. Lovely large balcony with mountain views, ideal for summer alfresco dining. 3rd floor (with lift). Secure ski storage. Ample parking. Centrally located at the foot of the main nursery slopes of Les Deux Alpes and only two minutes walk to the main gondola. In winter, it is possible to ski to within about 20 meters of the apartment building. Perfect location for shops, restaurants and bars with all the attractions of the resort within easy walking distance. Yet because the apartment is set back from the road and not on a thoroughfare, it remains peaceful. A perfect setting for families of all ages.

About the Owner

We first came to Les Deux Alpes in 2003 when our children were just toddlers. We fell in love with the resort and all that it has to offer and have been back every year since. Our son and daughter are now teenagers and we all still enjoy coming out to Les Deux Alpes each year, both summer and winter.

excellent apartment with great location

We rented this apartment back in February this year. The location is so convenient for the main lifts or the lower slopes and ski schools. We could ski-back to the apartment after a day's skiing. Great service checking in and out and the apartment had all the facilities we would expect back in the UK. There is a small supermarket across the road and a larger Super U down the Main Street. Just love the bars and restaurants. If you book this you will not be disappointed.

Fantastic apartment!

Our family of 5 have just returned from our 2nd stay in this superb apartment. The apartment itself is spacious and has been beautifully refurbished. It's very well equipped - TV, wifi, full kitchen, washing machine - just like home from home. The large balcony was a delight in the sunny afternoons as it catches the sun perfectly - perfect for relaxing apres ski. In colder months you can ski almost to the door, and its central location means it's only a 2-3min walk from ski school meeting places or the main lifts. The owners and their agent are a pleasure to deal with an you can be certain that we will be visiting again.

Excellent!

We cannot fault this flat. It is beautifully decorated, comfortable extremely well appointed, in a great location with shops, mini supermarkets and restaurants all a stone throw away. Great also for the main cable car. The communication with the owners was excellent too and their agent extremely helpful. Can't say anything bad about it. Loved it!

Great Location and Lovely Apartment

This is a lovely apartment in central Deux Alpes, beautifully refurbished in a relaxed style. As a family we have been coming to this resort for many years and enjoyed the convenient location of this property. There are plenty of restaurants and shops within walking distance but the apartment is in a quiet location beside the slopes.

We hired a car to transfer from the airport but did not use it in the resort, fortunately there was car parking at the apartment as car spaces in Deux Alpes are hard to find!

Highly recommended.

Excellent

The apartment is newly refurbished and did everything we were promised. Clean, warm, very convenient for the slopes etc. We are a family of five with children aged 9-15 and it suited us very well. Plenty of choice of restaurants but the local mini-supermarket is across the road and well stocked too so no need to fret about finding a hyper-market on the way up to the resort. My only regrets were not being fit enough to ski for more hours and not leaving very early on the Saturday morning to go back to the airport - traffic was very heavy on the way home after being a breeze on the way up. Nothing negative about the apartment or the customer service at all. Highly recommended.

Location

From the Owner

We bought this apartment in 2012 and have made it our home-from-home. We have tried to incorporate as many creature comforts as possible, to the extent that each time we stay, we don't want to go home! We love its central location and the comfortable and spacious living accommodation.

Activity and Interests

Travel:

Nearest airports: Grenoble (approx 90 minutes drive), Lyon (approx 2 hour drive) and Chambery (approx 2 hours drive).

Nearest train station: Grenoble (70km)

Airport transfers are available from virus private companies and a local coach service operates between Grenoble train station and Les Deux Alpes.

Car not essential.

Distances:

The picturesque village of Venosc, with its artisan shops, is just 3km away, reached by year-round gondola from Les Deux Alpes. The village of Mont de Lans with its weekly market is also around 3km away, reached by car, bus or chairlift.

The market town of Bourg d'Oisans is around 25km away.

The ski resorts of Alp d'Huez and Serre Chevalier are each around an hour's drive away. Two days skiing at these resorts is included as an option in a Les Deux Alpes weekly lift pass.
