A beautiful cottage weekend
This is our second time staying here and it was just as good this time as last time. Peaceful, huge roaring fire, and beautiful scenery. Excellent location for exploring the Brecon Beacons

Trekfest Haven
We loved our stay at this cottage. Superbly hosted by Lise, we had everything we needed. It was the perfect haven after our charity walk and would highly recommend it.

The perfect new year break
4 adults 4 kids and 2 dogs all stayed for a lovely short break. The cottage was absolutely perfect. Fairy lights and Christmas tree was a lovely unexpected bonus. The kitchen diner and the lounge very comfortable and spacious and had everything you need. Bedrooms again were comfortable and beautifully decorated. Going out the back gate and up onto the hills and being able to walk for miles and not needing to use the car was the icing on the cake. Will definitely being coming back and I would have no reservations in recommending a trip.

Fantastic!
Eight of us stayed at Lise's cottage this weekend, and we had a brilliant time, starting off with a very warm and friendly welcome from Lise on the Friday evening. The cottage was perfect for us. Very good and spacious car parking which was handy as we had a large mini van. The cottage was very warm and cosy, and spotlessly clean and well maintained, and the layout of the rooms was great and user-friendly. Masses of hot water, and we loved the wood burner! The listing description was 100% accurate, and I would highly recommend the cottage to family and friends. We hope to able to come back to the Brecons for another walking weekend early next year and will certainly book with Lise again.

We bought Llwyn Llwyd farm in 2001 and moved our 3 children down from Watford in Hertfordshire with anticipation and excitement. We have never looked back. Originally from the welsh valleys, Pontypridd , I was keen to return to my roots. We are now very proud Grand parents and all 3 of our grown up children live nearby. Ian is a self employed Accountant and works from home and I am a qualified Nurse and work in the local hospital part time. Our dream was to own and run holiday cottages and we are so excited to have welcomed our first guests in the summer of 2012. We now run 5 rentals in the Brecon Beacons and happy to give you a personal quote. Sleeping from 1-15

Why they chose this property

Lovely self catering rental in Brecon Beacons Wales that suits both mixed generation family celebrations and groups of walkers. We welcome single gender groups. Large table in kitchen for get togethers whilst the whole cottage allows generous space. Stunning views and sunsets. We are in a Dark Skies Reserve and GeoPark. Please ask for an up to date price as automatically generated quotes are not always correct and don't allow for special weekend late checkout prices. Now available to book with Ty Glo Cottage sharing same courtyard. Please ask for a quote.

What makes this property unique

Lots of space to relax and breathe. Recharging energies. Stunning views and amazing sunsets and dark skies to view the stars and planets. .
