Dorlands House is a beautiful, large property with lots of natural light and space, both inside and out.

It has been modernised to a very high standard. It is the perfect place and location to come together and celebrate! The kitchen is very well equipped throughout, providing everything you should need for your stay.

A hot tub is available at an extra £100 which is booked and paid for separately. (Please let us know at time of booking if you would like it.)

Dorlands House is only 15 minutes drive from M4/M5 yet set in a very peaceful countryside location, in 13 acres of pasture and woodland, with stunning views over the Usk Valley to the Black Mountains, known as 'Uskany'!

This lovely home is set over three floors. Bedrooms can be found on the 1st and lower ground floor. The kitchen, dining and living room are all on the ground floor.

The main living areas and bedrooms enjoy spectacular views.

The garden is south west facing, secure, private with outdoor furniture and a BBQ to enjoy in the summer months.

The local attractions offer something for all ages, from City life 20 minutes away in Bristol to Forest trails and adventure playgrounds for children.

The Forest of Dean which is very close bye, offers magical days out for all the family, including Puzzlewood, The Sculpture Trail, Offas Dyke Path, The Speech House, Taurus Crafts, Welsh Castles. The list is endless and suitable for all ages and weathers!!

It is ideally located to visit the Wye valley, Forest of Dean, Chepstow Racecourse, Tintern Abbey, Brecon Beacons, market towns of Chepstow and Monmouth, and local Welsh castles.

Great place to stay for a special occasion

Enjoyed a wonderful weekend with my family celebrating my wife's 70th birthday. Dorlands is a spacious, clean, comfortable and very well equipped property. We would highly recommend this property for any special occasion. Thank you Helen for helping us solve our Mother's Day lunch dilemma.

The whole family (8 adults, 7 children and a dog) had a great time in the house and enjoyed exploring the local countryside.

Beautiful

We had a great time. The property was immaculate and ticked all the boxes for our group, which was a tough ask. The layout was excellent as it gave everyone their own space, the location was beautiful and directions were spot on. And as for the hot tub under the stars - amazing! We hope to return again in the not-too-distant future.

The perfect place for a get together in beautiful countryside

Fantastic group house

Fabulous house for a big group we were several

Families eith kids and the layout worked really well, loads of space for the kids to explore and stunning views of the hills, lovely sunny garden we had a fab time will definitely be back

Beautiful views, great house

The house was perfect for our needs. Clean, comfortable and had everything we needed for a weekend away.

Well situated for the wye valley and Chepstow.

Helen's communication beforehand was very informative. And the welcome on arrival was lovely.

I would definitely want to hire again, particularly in the summer and make the most of the garden and those beautiful views.

Bristol airport is approximately 1 hours drive, access to M4 and M5 is approximately 15mins drive away.

A car is recommended although the house is on a local cycle and bus route. There are several local taxi companies too.

Chepstow is a market town with a beautiful river and a lovely castle just 10mins drive, it has great pubs, restaurants and supermarkets. Monmouth is another ancient market town, approximately 30mins drive.

There are several supermarkets in Chepstow. There is a small local village shop 2mins drive away that provides the very basics. Budgens is the next closest shop about 5 mins drive from the house by the racecourse roundabout which sells most things.

There are several banks, chemists, cafes, restaurants, clothes shops in Chepstow. More information can be found in the house.

People often arrange a food delivery to arrive as they do!
