Two bedromm house, short walk to sandy beach suitable for all agaes.

Our three holiday homes are near the front of the site, so it is a short easy walk to the beautiful beach at Freshwater East. Close enough to pop back for lunch or for the little ones to have a nap. All have parking in front of the property, 'High Seaview' the parking is below a grassy bank and there are steps up to the property. Our holiday homes are surrounded by well kept grassy area's where it is good to relax after a day out and about.

All have two bedroom and contain all you might need for a relaxing holiday we provide all the bed linen and the beds are made up ready for you.

Pebbles: one double bedroom and bunk beds and a single bed ,(all 2ft.6ins.x 6ft.3ins.) in the second bedroom.

High Seaview: one double bedroom and the second bedroom has two twin beds,( 3ft. x 6ft.3ins.)

Sandy Toes: one double bedroom the second bedroom has bunk beds,( 2ft.6ins. x 6ft.3ins) and a small single bed,( 2ft.6ins. x 5ft 10ins.)

All have a bathroom with bath with shower over.

The fully equipped kitchen makes cooking meals a pleasure.

A two bedroom re-furbished holiday home set within the Pembrokeshire National Park and a short stroll to the beach. One double bedroom with wardrobe, chest of drawers, wall mounted convector heater, bedside lights. The second bedroom has bunk beds,2ft.6ins x 6ft.3ins and a single bed 2ft.6ins x 5ft.10ins.A wardrobe with drawers. The bathroom has toilet wash basin bath with shower over, razor plug and wall heater. Down stairs the through lounge/dining room and kitchen are fully carpeted, with storage radiator and wall mounted convector heater. The lounge had two comfy sofas, coffee table, TV with free sat.DVD player. radio with CD player. The under stair cupboard houses the hover, iron, ironing board and garden chairs. The dinning room has a Welsh dresser, table and chairs. The fully fitted kitchen has electric cooker, fridge with small freezer compartment, compartment, microwave, toaster etc.

About the Owner

Peter and I have been happily married for many years and have four grown up children and we have been blessed with many grandchildren, who give us much pleasure.

For many years we have been lucky to visit many far off countries but also enjoy visiting places in UK.

A lot of my time is taken up with my passion for photography and we both enjoy walking and the outdoor life.

For over 20years, before our retirement, we ran a B/B from our home in Ross-on-Wye, this gave us great pleasure meeting so many nice people. This we gave up to start a new venture in Pembrokeshire with our three holiday homes, which we purchased at Freshwater East.

Anazing location

Lovely property, a short walk from a fantastic sand beach, well equipped for a nice relaxing holiday. The owners provided a cot bed to spare some space in my car boot and there is a security gate upstairs for the peace of mind as we traveled with two young kids.

A freshly made cake and milk in the fridge were a lovely touch to make us feel most welcome.

Lovely location with great access to beach

Great practical accomodation with welcome pack included. Great to have the small things like bedding, washing up liquid, toilet paper and milk all there for our arrival and of course cake!!

Couldn't ask for more and amazing beach within a short walking distance. What more does one want!!

Amazing stay at Sandy Toes

Arrived late afternoon on Good Friday to be greeted with homemade cake (yes it is delicious! Thanks Barbara!) and a warm welcome! Our 5 year old was keen to go straight to the beach so after a quick unpack we walked the 5 minutes to Freshwater beach. The beach is lovely and unspoilt and we spent a lovely few hours playing on the beach and dunes.

Back at the cosy chalet we put the kids to bed and had a quiet night relaxing. Sandy Toes is very well equipped and has everything you need for a lovely holiday.

There is a lot to see and do in the immediate area and in out short stay we visited Oakwood Park, Tenby, Carew Castle, Narbeth and Folly Farm.

We are looking forward to going to stay again and our daughter wants to move there to live!

Perfect

'Sandy Toes' was the perfect location to the local beach and coastal path which provided beautiful views of the bay,my 3 boys loved the area and the beach.

The house was very clean and we had a lovely welcome homemade cake cooked by the owners left for us.

I would recommend this home and area to anyone who wants to be close to the sea and with a young family.

We bought these holiday home a few years back, as a new venture after closing our B/B in Ross-on-Wye. Peter's brother lives at Haverfordwest and saw the holiday homes for sale at Freshwater Water East, we came down and looked at them and fell in love. They were perfect, on a lovely well kept site, plenty of open grassy area's and of course the wonderful sand dune backed beach which is just a short stroll away. We spent a good few months renovating and up-dating them and making them friendly and relaxing for our guests.

Coast/Beach:

Our three holiday homes are a short easy stroll to one of the most beautiful and tranquil beaches in the area. A freshwater stream runs down the beach to the sea, hence the name Freshwater East.

The beach provide a half mile wide stretch of clean unspoiled sand perfect for beach games, sand castle building, ideal for children of all ages.

The gently sloping beach gives way to the shallow sea, ideal for dipping those toes, and if conditions are right practising those surfing skills.

Folly Farm is a must for young and old alike, plenty to see, many animals in the parkland and old fashioned fair ground rides housed in a large covered area, good for a wet day.

A boat trip from Tenby takes you to Caldy Island, a tranquil haven with a lovely beach and many walks.

Barafundle Beach is reached from Stackpole car park a lovely walk along the cliff top with spectacular views an easy walk with a few steps either end.

The Longhouse on site is open for meals and drinks with a small shop selling essential groceries and newspapers.

Wi-Fi is available here as is wide screen TV.

Travel:

It is recommended that you have a car to get the best out of the area, but there are many local buses that pass places of interest.

The Coastal Cruiser passes the entrance to Freshwater Bay Holiday Park, and stops at many places on the Coastal Path so it is possible to walk some of the Path and get the bus back.

The ferry from Ireland docks at Pembroke Dock where it is a 20 minuet car journey to the site.

Distances:

The nearest village Lamphey is 10 minuets drive.

Pembroke and Pembroke Dock about 20 minuets drive.

Tenby is 9 miles away.

Further Details:

The nearest supermarkets are at Pembroke Dock 20 minuets drive away, there is a large Tesco's and Asda store both with large car parks.

Pembroke town has plenty of local shops and banks.

Lamphey has a home baked bakery, perfect fresh baked bread and rolls.

There are many good restaurants and pubs close by,( car needed).

At the top of Trewent Hill is the Freshwater Inn with spectacular views over the bay.

In Lamphey the Dial Inn, Lamphey restaurant serves good reasonable value meals.

For a cheap breakfast the cafe opposite Asda in Pembroke Dock can not be beaten.

There are so many good eating eating places to choose from, you will no doubt find your favourite.

Booking Notes:
After confirming availability we would require 50% of the final payment as a deposit to secure the booking, the balance will be due one month before the start of the holiday. Can be paid by cheque or direct bank transfer.
The deposit and balance are non refundable unless we can re-let the week/weeks booked.
We are sorry we do not take groups of single people.

Changeover Day:
Our change over day is Saturday.
Your holiday home will be ready from 3.pm on the day of arrival and we would ask you to depart before 10.am on the following Saturday, so that we can have the holiday home cleaned for the new guests.

Notes on prices:
A 10% discount is given on the 2nd. week of a two week consecutive holiday booked.

Easter Booking SPECIAL OFFER 28th.March to 4th.April £280.00 REDUCED TO £200.00

50% deposit on booking and the balance due one month before the holiday, this can be paid by cheque or bank transfer.
The deposit is non refundable and we strongly recommend you take out holiday insurance cover in case for any reason you may have to cancel your holiday.
A 10% discount will be given on the second week of two weeks holiday booked consequetivly

The beauty of all three of our holiday homes, Pebbles' Sandy Toes' and 'High Seaview' is that they are very near the front of the site, no dragging tired and hungry children miles to get home. 'Sandy Toes' No.245 is especially suitable for young children as it is away from the road and has a grassy area at the front for them to play. To make life easier we supply all the bedding,(no extra charge) and we make the beds up ready for you, there are plenty of storage cupboards making unloading the car a lot easier. So when you arrive sit down make a cup, of tea and enjoy the complimentary welcome pack.

  • Notes on accommodation: We supply all the bed linen and the beds are made up ready for you, all you need to bring are your own towels, and beach towels. Charge for electricity is included in the price from April to the end of September. From the beginning of October until the end of March there is a charge for electricity used. Outside: The well kept grounds that surround the holiday homes offers plenty of grassy area's to sit and unwind with that glass of wine, we provide garden chairs, so that you can move around following the sun.
