About the Owner
About Peter and Barbara Nash
Peter and I have been happily married for many years and have four grown up children and we have been blessed with many grandchildren, who give us much pleasure.
For many years we have been lucky to visit many far off countries but also enjoy visiting places in UK.
A lot of my time is taken up with my passion for photography and we both enjoy walking and the outdoor life.
For over 20years, before our retirement, we ran a B/B from our home in Ross-on-Wye, this gave us great pleasure meeting so many nice people. This we gave up to start a new venture in Pembrokeshire with our three holiday homes, which we purchased at Freshwater East.
We spent a great deal of time refurbishing our holiday homes to make them homely and comfortable for people to enjoy a relaxing holiday in this beautiful
Peter and Barbara Nash purchased this house in 2008
Why Peter and Barbara Nash chose Pembroke, Tenby, Saundersfoot & The South Coast
We bought these holiday home a few years back, as a new venture after closing our B/B in Ross-on-Wye.
Peter's brother lives at Haverfordwest and saw the holiday homes for sale at Freshwater Water East, we came down and looked at them and fell in love.
They were perfect, on a lovely well kept site, plenty of open grassy area's and of course the wonderful sand dune backed beach which is just a short stroll away.
We spent a good few months renovating and up-dating them and making them friendly and relaxing for our guests.
What makes this house unique
The beauty of all three of our holiday homes, Pebbles' Sandy Toes' and 'High Seaview' is that they are very near the front of the site, no dragging tired and hungry children miles to get home.
'Sandy Toes' No.245 is especially suitable for young children as it is away from the road and has a grassy area at the front for them to play.
To make life easier we supply all the bedding,(no extra charge) and we make the beds up ready for you, there are plenty of storage cupboards making unloading the car a lot easier.
So when you arrive sit down make a cup, of tea and enjoy the complimentary welcome pack.

Lovely holiday in Freshwater East
We had a lovely time staying here. Property was easy to find and access and very pleasant inside. Had everything we needed for our stay. The cake and milk in the fridge was very welcome and a thoughtful touch. Everything was set up as requested with travel cot. We couldn't make the oven work but Peter came around within minutes and his magic hands sorted it out! Enjoyed walk from the house to Barafundle Bay along the coast path (very hilly!) And enjoyed being less than 5 minute walk from a lovely beach as well as close to other nearby attractions. Would happily stay again. Only things that would have made the stay even better would be sharper knives for chopping but that's a minor thing! Thank you for our lovely holiday.
Holiday close to beach
Really enjoyed our recent holiday to Freshwater East. Property was clean and well maintained. Owners very friendly popped in to see if everything ok on our arrival plus nice touch of welcome tray of home-made cake, tea and coffee. Only criticism would be to update tv as problems with sound sometimes and cooker/hob as cannot read dials. Would recommend trip to Caldey Island from Tenby. Very peaceful. Also would recommend Barafundle beach from Stackpole and tea room there.
A Great Little Gem
A lovely little holiday home with everything that you need. Freshwater East is a really nice place, a great beach only 2 minutes walk. A lovely touch was the welcome tray with a lovely chocolate cake to tuck into after a long drive!
Overall great value for money, in a lovely setting.
Fabulous location for a holiday. Chalet home was fully equipped, clean and comfortable. A lovely welcome pack was provided. Nice and quiet and plenty of activities and places to visit around about. A lovely part of the world and would recommend this excellently priced accommodation. You do need a car though

Our three holiday homes are a short easy stroll to one of the most beautiful and tranquil beaches in the area. A freshwater stream runs down the beach to the sea, hence the name Freshwater East.

Barafundle Beach is reached from Stackpole car park a lovely walk along the cliff top with spectacular views an easy walk with a few steps either end.
The Longhouse on site is open for meals and drinks with a small shop selling essential groceries and newspapers.

It is recommended that you have a car to get the best out of the area, but there are many local buses that pass places of interest.
The Coastal Cruiser passes the entrance to Freshwater Bay Holiday Park, and stops at many places on the Coastal Path so it is possible to walk some of the Path and get the bus back.
