About the Owner

We came to France in 2000 having retired from our careers in Kent as architect( husband-Scottish born) and party planner/ caterer ( wife -half French, half English). We renovated and moved into this house four years ago with Finlay the short haired German pointer.

Beautiful setting with everything we needed

  • 5 of 5

Danielle and Anthony were very welcoming and the studio was perfect for the pair of us. It was well equipped and ideally sized. The studio itself was in a beautiful setting with glorious views and a fantastic swimming pool. We very much enjoyed our stay. Thank you!

Owner's Response: Sacha and Rik were a lovely couple we were very happy to have them to stay. We showed them a few places since they were without transport but they mostly stayed on the property, swimming and reading.

We couldn't have asked for anything more from our holiday. The sudio was perfect and we enjoyed lots of lovely BBQ's looking out at the lovely view. Great location with so many lovely villages. We hope to return for another holiday soon.

What a View Every Morning

  • 5 of 5

The property listing was totally accurate. It was clean and well presented. The owners went out of their way to ensure that our stay was perfect in every way they were friendly without being intrusive. I would happily recommend it to any of my friends who were looking for a property in this area.

Would recommend the usual attractions in the area, Vaison, Avignon,

Isle sur le Sourge, Sault when the Lavender is out, and for the more adventurous Mont Ventoux by car or for the masochistic by bike, finally for wine lovers, numerous Vineyards for degustations.

One restaurant particularly sticks in our mind, in Avignon on the square outside the Palais de Papes I think it is called Bite and Off but whatever it is the one in the left hand corner of the square as you come out of the Palais, excellent fixed price lunch for around € 12.

  • 4 of 5
