Mimosa Cottage is a spacious detached bungalow situated in Studland which is a quiet unspoilt village partially owned by the National Trust. The Cottage is in an ideal location for the sandy safe bathing beaches, and beautiful countryside. Studland is set in a National Nature Reserve, is in an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and is part of the Purbeck Heritage Coast, and a gateway to the Jurassic Coast World Heritage. Golfers will enjoy the Isle of Purbeck Golf Course 5 minutes drive away which has an 18-hole and 9-hole course, both with stunning views over Poole Harbour. The Arne Reserve, and Brownsea Island will be of interest to Ornithologists.

Our holiday at Mimosa Cottage

Fantastic! We have recently stayed in your cottage and had a wonderful time! It had everything we needed and was so child friendly with the open plan space, we have a 3 year old and a nearly walking 14 month old so lots of space for them! The cottage was beautiful and so were the gardens. We were so sad to leave! 10 out of 10 from us! Thank you!

Coast/Beach:

There are three miles of spectacular safe sandy beach and dunes with safe bathing, which are 4 minutes walk from the Cottage.

Travel:

Bournemouth Airport is 14 miles from the Cottage.

The two nearest main line train stations are: Bournemouth – nine miles [via car ferry], and Wareham – 10 miles

There are accessible taxis at Bournemouth and Wareham

The nearest bus stop is 180m from the Cottage [bus no. 150] and one way takes you to Swanage, the other, via the Ferry, to Bournemouth.

Distances:

The local village shop and Post Office is 2 minutes walk from the Cottage as are the church, and riding stables. There is a Pub 5 minutes walk away.

The seaside town of Swanage is 10 minutes drive away, and Bournemouth and Poole are 9 miles away via the car ferry.
