Marion and I spent 4 weeks touring Portugal and when we got to Lagos we just couldn't leave. The Backpackers Guide had warned us about this - it described Lagos as a black hole - once you're in there's no leaving! The property is well-located being on the fringes of the old town and having local amenities (shops, restaurants, bars etc) close by.
Great venue for relaxing or getting out and about exploring the neighbouring sights and attractions. Fabulous restaurants and night life for the more mature, discerning clientele. Lots of sporting activities; particularly noted for golf and surfing.
This is a beautiful modern apartment in a great location for getting to the town and the beach. The apartment is in a lovely complex with a beautiful big pool, kids pool and an area for laying out in the sun. It has everything you need for a great holiday. There are two restaurants right beside the apartment block and both have lovely food. Guy the owner is brilliant to deal with making everything easy. I would highly recommend this to anyone for a holiday and hope to return again.
Our apartment was perfect! A 3-bedroom apartment with everything you could wish for - all mod cons, a pool, balcony with a view, air conditioning, and close to the beach.
Everything was spotless and clean. And everything worked ( a handy folder explained how to operate the TV, A/C, and how to get to anywhere of interest in Lagos). The nearest beach is only a 6 or 7 minute walk. There are 3 restaurants within a 2 minute walk, and the town centre is a 12 to 15 minute walk. A taxi for 4 people costs €3.75 if you don't fancy a walk.
The location would suit almost anyone - couples, family group, senior citizens. It's very quiet, but close to everything.
Add a week of perfect weather to that, and you get the best value holiday ever!
A beautiful, modern apartment with all the conveniences. beach is just over the road, and a quick easy walk into town. More bars & restaurants than anyone could want ... Recommended.
We fully recommend this apartment - ideal for our family of 5. All rooms really spacious and clean. Master bedroom en suite really cool. All mod cons - well equipped. Air conditioning was great and well used. The overall apartment block is a nice size - small and therefore quiet. Pool area just right - always clean and never over busy. The location is great - a 10 -15 minute walk to the Old Town and 5 - 10 minute walk to Praia Dona Ana beach. Local Spar supermarket is about 5 minutes away, which meant for us no need for a car, although we did take a taxi for one big shop at beginning of our holiday to the Intermarche. Loads of very reasonably priced restaurants in the Old Town. Owner great at communicating with us before, during and after our holiday. We loved Lagos and when we return will book this place again!
I have just returned from staying in Guy and Marion's apartment and without a doubt it is one of the best apartments I have stayed in in a long time. Myself and 5 friends were in Lagos for the week. Everything was exactly as described, the apartment provided ample of space, was extremely clean and had a beautiful pool. Better yet was the location - only a 5 minute walk to Praia D'Ana beach and the old town.
Guy sent us details of a transfer company which worked great for us and loads more information was provided.
I suggest that anyone who visits Lagos goes kayaking to see the gorgeous caves and hidden beaches.
I would highly recommend booking this apartment to anyone, we are already discussing when could we return!

Bookings to be made by contacting the owner by phone or email. Accommodation is for booked guests, not additional friends and visitors. A deposit of 20% is payable at the time of booking, non-refundable if cancellation occurs within 1 month of arrival. The balance payable 1 month before arrival. In addition, a £100 deposit is requested to cover any breakages; this will be returned to guests within 2 weeks of departure if no breakages occur.
Changeover day is flexible but other bookings will dictate this.
Notes on prices:
