About the Owner

We are a half-Greek, half English family based in London who have a life long love affair with the Island of Paxos. We not only stay in Paradisos Villa whenever we can and consider it our home away from home but were married in Paxos in 2011. We even named our daughter after our favourite part of the Island - what can we say - it's paradise! We hope you enjoy staying there as much as we do.

Great villa, great location

  • 5 of 5

We have just returned from our first holiday in Paxos.

It is an amazingly beautiful and peaceful place.

Tastefully but simply decorated, the villa is nestled in the olive groves above Loggos. It did not disappoint.

Thank you Amber and Jamie for a stunning holiday.

Perfect Villa for a Paxos holiday

  • 5 of 5

We have recently returned from our first visit to the Island of Paxos. It was a lovely relaxed 9 days and somewhere we will definitely be revisiting. The island is friendly. The sea is glorious blue. The food is yummy and the villa just right.

Booking the villa was easy as the owners were very friendly and easy to contact. They also gave some valuable advice for places to visit and also names of people on the island to help our holiday run smoothly. All advice was good ... Don't miss the evening dinner at Erimitis Sunset bar!

The villa was well layed out inside and outside. The pool was just right and well looked after. We used it everyday even after walking down to the local blue sea bays for a dip. The temp at this time was just right. We were also happy with the air conditioned bedrooms and the spacious kitchen / living area.

Overall our holiday was perfect and the Villa Paradisos lived up to its name. Thanks Amber and Jamie.

Ideal family/group villa

  • 5 of 5

We were a family party of 6 adults ( parents and 2 children and their partners ) between 25yrs and 68yrs and like all the other reviewers ,we all loved everything about the villa and it's situation . Overall the villa ,pool and garden was larger than expected , the layout adding to the feel of spaciousness. As we were only there for a week we decided not to hire a car and enjoyed using the local bus to visit Gaios and Lakka and hire bo

Lovely Paxos Villa

  • 5 of 5

PROS: Quiet, peaceful situation in the countryside above Loggos. Inside, the villa is spacious and comfortable and contains everything you would expect from accommodation of this standard. Outside, the grounds are attractively laid out with an eating area at the front and a more secluded area at the side with plenty of space surrounding the swimming pool. Booking the villa was straightforward, the owners being both friendly and helpful.

CONS: Not much really, but if you don't have a car you will need to be prepared to do a bit of walking to get to Loggos and the nearby beaches. Nothing is very far away however and using the paths through the olive groves makes it much more enjoyable than using the main road. At least one of the Loggos supermarkets will deliver to the villa which is certainly preferable to walking back up with lots of messages! Bring a torch if you intend going out at night.

We had a great time and hope to return sometime in the future. Highly recommended!

Relaxing villa in Olive Groves

  • 4 of 5

We stayed here as a family of 6, covering 3 generations. We loved the setting about 10-15 mins walk from Loggos. It has an old rustic feel with a lovely pool and garden with colourful blossom. What we liked most was exploring the various trails from the villa down to numerous beaches.

In the evening we would visit the bar at our nearest beach. The main path to the town was hard to find. It's essential you use the Bleasdale walking map to find the path down to the town as it isn't obvious without it! After a couple of days you can work the trails like a local. Quite good exercise and handy to have a torch if the moon isn't up. It was for us so you could just about make your way up the steep trails through olive groves in the dark.

The most perfect holiday

  • 5 of 5

We have just got back from the most idyllic holiday staying at this villa with our 3 grandchildren aged 5 and 3. Everything was perfect, the villa had all we needed and is very pretty and the perfect pool was ideal for small children to play in for hours. The property is very child friendly both inside and outside. We went to Antipaxos every day because they loved the sandy beach but spent many hours at the villa every morning and evening and we could not have all been happier. We look forward to returning next year if possible because we have all fallen in love with Paxos and the villa.

Location

From the Owner

This villa was handed down from the Greek side of our family and is very dear to us. Paradisos is a slice of tranquility on an already beautifully tranquil part of the world. Overlooking ancient olive groves and only minutes from three of the best beaches on the island, yet still close to shops and restaurants, we think our villa has one of the best locations on the island. The villa was built over 100 years ago and its thick stone walls keep it blissfully cool throughout the day and its beautiful pool makes it difficult to leave. Paxos is completely unspoiled, and although it has everything you need in terms of amenities, it feels like it might have fifty years ago - quiet, unspoiled and utterly beautiful. We should know - our extended family has been coming to Paxos for over 40 years!

Activity and Interests

Coast/Beach:

There are four beaches, within ten minutes walk of the villa. The beaches on Paxos are pebbly, with beautifully clear blue water. The beaches of anti-Paxos (a short boat ride away) are outstanding sandy with exceptional turquoise water.

Travel:

To reach the villa, take a plane to Corfu, followed by an hour's ferry ride to Paxos. Corfu's port is a ten minute taxi ride from Corfu airport.

NB Unless you are planning to stay a night in Corfu, you should arrive in Corfu in the morning. You will then be able to take either a late morning or mid-afternoon ferry to Paxos.

The villa is ten minutes by car from Paxos's port.

A number of airlines - including Easyjet and Monarch - fly daily to Corfu during the summer.

Distances:

Three minutes' drive / fifteen minutes walk to Loggos.

Seven minutes walk to Kipos beach.

Seven minutes walk to Marmari beach.

Ten minutes walk to Kipiadi beach.

Seven minutes walk to Levrechio beach.

Ten minutes drive to Lakka.

Ten minutes drive to Gaios.

Ten minutes drive to the port.

Forty minutes boat ride to Anti Paxos (via hired private boat in Loggos).

Further Details:

Many supermarkets and restaurants take credit cards. But there is no ATM in Loggos or Lakka, so be sure to stock up on cash in Gaios.

There is no wifi at the villa, but free wifi available anywhere in Loggos.

Boat and scooter hire available in Loggos. Car hire recommended from Gaios, in advance.

Bakery in Loggos. Several excellent restaurants and bars in Loggos.

Taxis readily available throughout the island.

Facilities

From the Owner

Being so close to Loggos - the smallest and most charming fishing village in Paxos - is a huge plus. In 6 minutes you can stroll down to Mamari Beach, swim in the turquoise sea and five minutes later be eating yoghurt and honey at Taxidi's bar at the fishing port. Hire a boat from Panos (the island's only red-headed local) and take the 30 minute trip to the incredible sights of Anti-Paxos. On the way back you can swim in the caves on the Western cliffs or stop at the larger port town of Gaios for some shopping and delicious lunch. We recommend spending an evening at Eremitis 'Sunset Bar' to watch the sun go down over the white cliffs and having a coffee and fresh orange-juice while sitting at the water's edge in Lakka one morning. The options are endless!
