Apartment in Puerto del Carmen, Lanzarote, Canary Islands - Very Central Location Close To Beach, Bars & Restaurants And Biosfera Shopping Centre

This is a large one bedroom self-catering apartment in central Puerto Del Carmen. Accommodation comprises of spacious open plan kitchen, lounge & dining area, bathroom, bedroom and balcony. There is a large heated swimming pool (with protective safety barrier) and kiddie’s pool, complete with children’s play area. It’s only a 10 minute drive from the airport and 8 - 10 minute walk to the beautiful beach and many shops and restaurants. There is a secure keypad entrance to the complex with games room and reception. There is a large spar shop & deli located directly across the road with a number of lovely restaurants very close by within walking distance as is the old town harbour with fresh seafood served daily.

Caroline stayed May 2014 - “This apartment was really excellent in a lovely well run Complex. The heated pool was great and there were nice well kept gardens. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed. The washing machine came in very handy before we left. The Complex is in a great location with the SPAR supermarket right across the street and very accessible to both the New Town and the Old Town with the bars and restaurants. It was a great holiday and we hope to be back again in the near future.”

EMMA March 2014 - We stayed in the Lanzamar for 2 weeks and had a wonderful time. The apartment was clean and roomy and had all the conveniences that we needed for a relaxing break away. Ester at Reception was very helpful and the pool area had a plentiful supply of sunbeds even though there was a good crowd staying. The Lanzamar Complex is very central within walking distance of shops, beach and restaurants and we'll be staying there again.

Notes on accommodation: There is a lift from reception Outside: The Complex has a large sun bed area around the pools and beautiful well maintained gardens with typical Canary Island plants and shrubs. A recent addition was the development of a children's play area and a perspex guard around the pool. The large Reception Area has WiFi and an internet access station. Utility Room: A Cloths Horse is available on the balcony to dry out bits & pieces. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Linen & towels are included. Other: South facing Balcony where you can enjoy breakfast in the morning sun.

Winter holiday

Overall we had a nice stay. The apartment is basic but having a TV with some movie channels and was a bonus. If I may suggest a few things it would be to carry out a couple of repairs ie. Door handle on to balcony and socket in the Bathroom. Unfortunately we couldn’t use the pool as it is only heated by solar power and the weather was overcast for most of the time.

Quiet & Friendly in Great Location

My husband and I have just returned from an excellent 2 week stay at the Ocean Lanzamar. The apartment was clean and tidy, there was use of a washing machine which was great; as a consequence I didn't use half of the clothes I brought with me, so I now know if I stayed again I won't bring as many clothes with me so I can buy more at the Biosfera shopping centre which was a 5 minute walk from the apartment. The TV had English channels and channels with good English films. The strip is approximately 10 minutes walk away (depending on how fast you walk). The pool area was pleasant, there was a splash guard around the pool which was very safe and it also served as a splash guard so that serious sun bathers could not get wet accidentally. The Spar was just across the road, which sold all the essentials. It also sold freshly baked bread which was lovely. Would we stay again??? .......without a shadow of a doubt, thanks Oliver.

Ti svegli, tiri la tenda e...

... Dopo una notte cullata dall'unico rumore udibile (il dolce fruscio delle palme), i tuoi occhi ancora socchiusi vengono deliziati dal blu dell'Oceano che dipinge l'orizzonte.

Questa è una delle cose che ti rimarranno tatuate nella mente una volta che passerai il tuo soggiorno qui.

Se vuoi passare la tua vacanza a Lanzarote insieme ad un amico o al tuo partner, allora questo appartamento è la migliore soluzione dell'Isola:

- Posizione rialzata che ti permette di ammirare l'immensità dell'Oceano Atlantico con le palme di fronte all'abitazione che suonano in sottofondo;

- Due letti singoli con lenzuola perfettamente pulite e profumate (nel mio passato soggiorno in un'altra abitazione ho trovato intere ciocche di capelli nei cuscini);

- Cucina perfettamente funzionante con fornelli elettrici e forno a microonde;

- Comodo divano nel quale potrai rilassarti prima di uscire guardando un programma in TV o leggendo uno dei libri messi a disposizione dal proprietario;

- Balcone con vista mozzafiato sull'oceano e sui tetti bianchi tipici delle abitazioni di Lanzarote (sarà il tuo luogo preferito per ammirare il calare del sole con in mano un bicchiere di vino);

- 5 minuti dall'immensa spiaggia di Puerto del Carmen e dalla caratteristica Avenida;

- Piscina in comune con le altre abitazioni del complesso

Ho passato qui il mio primo capodanno in infradito e in pantaloncini e non posso fare altro che consigliarti questo appartamento dal prezzo decisamente basso ma dall'ottima qualità per servizio e posizione.

Car: not necessary


The beach and shopping strip is only an 8 to 10 minutes walk from the Lanzamar Complex.


Arrecife airport is at the Puerto del Carmen side of the city and is literially only 10 minutes by taxi/car.


The BeachStrip is about 8 to 10 minutes away and the Old Town with Reataurants/Bars is only a 6 to 8 minutes walk.

Further Details:

There is a Bus Stop just 50 metres down the street from the Complex where you can get a bus to anyehere on the island. An Information Pack is provided giving you advice/information on contacts, directions, tourist & travel information.
