Our first visit to Melrose and Eildon Holiday Cottages. Had a lovely time, facilities are fantastic and location is great!! Visited Edinburgh and Berwick whilst here. The info file was a great help to us through our stay. The beds are comfy enough to spend the full day in! Would definately come again and will be recommending the cottages to our friends!
Our first visit to Eildon Holiday Cottages and I am sure it wont be the last. Cannot fault the cottages in any way. Our cottage was spotless on arrival. Thank you for biscuits, milk etc on arrival, nice touch especially if you want to do the shopping after you arrive. The facilities available at all the cottages are fantastic, we shall certainly recommend them, thank you.
A lovely holiday in a beautiful setting. Bonny Scotland indeed!
This is a wonderful place to stay. We have all enjoyed it so much! The bean bag was just perfect. Loved watching the birds feeding too. Hope to come again soon!
Lovely stay. We really enjoyed the cottage and the area – lots to see and do in wonderful surroundings.
Another week at this fabulous base for wandering round the Borders. Love being able to see the views now the hedges have been cut back. Teviot Smokery worth a visit. For a substantial lunch visit Bisley at Braidwood, the food is lovely, plenty of it and great value. The Donkey Sanctuary at St Boswells well worth a visit. We’ll be back!
Second visit to Eildon Holiday Cottages, first time in Single Tree Cottage – very relaxing and excellent facilities. Had a really nice time and the weather was great. Nice to see Dixie again and the new addition ‘Boris’. Look forward to a return visit, thanks so much.
This has been a perfect week – gorgeous weather, fabulous walks over the Eildons and beside the Tweed, ancient abbeys and towers and memorable tea-rooms!! The only disappointment, for Stephen, was the low level of the water in the River Tweed and the scarcity of fish!! Thank you for this great opportunity to enjoy the Borders
Our guests from Adelaide, Australia and my wife and I enjoyed a most pleasant week in Howlands and Hamiltons – excellent location and so close to the Eildon Hills.
Fantastic weekend again here at Eildon Holiday Cottages! Looking forward to next year already.
