About Morgan Jackson

I was born and brought up in the beautiful Edale valley, and have wonderful childhood memories of skiing back home from the tiny village school after deep snows in Winter, making dens out of hay bales in Summer and tickling trout for breakfast from the local stream - whilst avoiding the river warden!!! My parents, grandparents and great grandmother all lived in Edale and after I moved away to University and then down to London for work I knew it was a place I'd always return to. When my grandparents died, about 10 years ago, I was in a position to buy their house, which is Belmont. In recent years I've completely renovated the property and now offer the house to groups who can come and enjoy the amazing scenery and surroundings of Edale where I was brought up.

Morgan Jackson purchased this house in 2006

This House is perfectly equipped for large groups. It is immaculately decorated throughout, and is very comfortable. It is also perfectly located for lots of hiking opportunities in the peaks. We would love to pay a visit again soon

Gorgeous house! Had a perfect stay :)

  • 5 of 5

I came here for a hen do a couple of years ago and when I was looking for a venue for a reunion of friends I remembered Belmont House! We had an amazing weekend - the house is beautiful, comfortable and had everything we needed. Morgan (the owner) was exceptionally helpful with loads of useful local information, and answers to lots of probably annoying questions from me trying to coordinate 16 people to one place for the first time in 10 years!

I definitely recommend Belmont house, and will probably go back!

Beautiful house, impeccably presented

  • 5 of 5

The house is fantastic, we stayed as a group of 15 for a wedding being held in Edale. The layout, presentation and facilities provided at Belmont House are brilliant. The generous bedrooms and numerous bathrooms were well presented with high end finishes. The large kitchen and dining room were perfect for enveryone to enjoy dinner together. While we didn't use the garden, it was huge and would be very special in good weather.

Morgan was a fantastic host also, with fast response on all queries and made the process very simple.

I would happily recommend Belmont House, in fact we are already planning to book again!

Wonderful house in a perfect location

  • 5 of 5

Belmont House is beautiful. Cosy, yet large, and equipped with everything you could need. As a large group (there were 16 of us in total), we needed lots of space. And Belmont House had loads of it. The log burners, comfy beds and numerous showers were especially appreciated, as we did lots of walking and got very wet!

I couldn't recommend this house more. Morgan the owner was fantastic from start to finish. And the location couldn't have been better. Whether you're a keen walker or would prefer to take a gentle stroll to the pub (or both), this house is for you.
