Having lived in our lovely house for 4 years we have now relocated to the UK, but visit our home from home in the Sun as often as possible as we absolutely love being there, and we welcome guests who want to stay in a really great family home that is close to everything you could ever need, a house that is taken care of, meaning you get a wonderful home for your holiday. Situated a 5 minute walk to the park, the beach or the centre of town, you are ideally located to explore and enjoy Benalmadena Costa.

We love our house in Benalmadena and visit whenever possible. When not there we welcome guests who want to stay in a great house that has everything you could want. Being a family home and location it is great for relaxing and having all that you need on hand.

Why John Greenan chose Benalmádena

We purchased this property having lived elsewhere in the area, but the location of this house is excellent. With just a short stroll to the beach or the park, or into Arroyo De la Miel, you really are near to everything, But not on top of everything .

We love Benalmadena and brought our children up there, the area does have everything you could really want, and the weather is not bad!!

What makes this house unique

Everything is close by and only a few minutes walk to the beach, the shops, the restaurants and bars, but our Urbanisation is quite and relaxed - just right for a holiday

Notes on accommodation: Whether it is winter or summer Benalmadena is a great place to visit. Our home is in an ideal location allowing everything to be in a short walk. With 4 bedrooms and sleeping up to nine people our home is available all year round ( with the exceptions of the many times we visit) - As our spanish home we love the house and the area and welcome you to enjoy it to. October - April - Long lets may be considered - just contact us to ask Outside: Front and rear private patio, with seating and deckchairs, BBQ, communal gardens and swimming pool (Open June - Sept) Utility Room: Washing machine and dishwasher Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Towels and linen provided (not beach towels). Can be changed weekly for extra charge

Great holiday

We had a great holiday here, very spacious, there was 9 of us in total & it was a very comfortable stay, it was just a home from home kind of holiday, house was very well equipped & so close to all amenities, which meant walking to almost everywhere (although we took the lazy options on most occasions & ordered taxis lol)

We will definitely be back here soon.

Perfect holiday

Good choice. Close to supermarkets and bars. 10min walk to the sea and 10min walk from the train station. All family very happy. Thanks for John for letting us stay in his villa.

Fantastic place

This property is in a great location near bars, cafes and supermarket. The beach is just a short walk away too! House had everything in it you could possibly want. The pool is directly behind the house and looked lovely, shame it was closed tho when we went. We would definitely recommend staying here to all our friends and family and will definitely return.

Wonderful property in a perfect location.

My wife and I stayed at John's townhouse for the whole of October and loved the place. Everywhere was clean and tidy upon arrival we knew straight away we were going to love our stay there.

Wi-Fi was great, never any interruptions to the service, nice big tv with the main UK channels and Netflix/Amazon Prime. Nice and quiet in the evenings also which was a nice change from other places we have stayed. Lovely communal pool and grounds if you just fancy staying home.

A good comprehensive "Welcome to our home" folder gave details how to work everything (tv remotes, washing machine etc). Future guests should check out John,s local restaurant recommendations as we found them to be excellent.

The location of the townhouse is also absolutely perfect, just a couple of minutes walk away from the beautiful Paloma Park, 5 minutes away from the big Mercadona supermarket and 10 minutes from the beach.

Arroyo town is also 10/15 minutes away with the excellent train station and service to Malaga, Torremolinos, Fuengirola and all stations in between.

We only had 2 cloudy days out of 31 and being beach lovers most days were spent sunbathing and swimming then a nice cold beer at the Meeting Place cafe on the way back to the house.

We felt so at home in the Townhouse and I guess being there so long made it more difficult to leave. The wife and I usually never stop talking but when we locked up on leaving day we barely said a word on the walk to Arroyo station to get the train back to the airport, literally too choked up to speak.

Lots of lovely memories of a perfect holiday in a perfect home in a perfect location.

This is an excellent family home to enjoy your Benalmadena holiday!!

This property is excellent, it very much met our expectations. It had everything that we needed to enjoy our time in Benalmadena. A fantastic living space where my family sat and enjoyed our time, with wifi, good tv channels and a wii game also. There were a large selection of board games available as well as books to read, it was impossible to be bored here. There is a very accessible public transport system here also. A special thanks to John for making our stay extremely comfortable in their home. The area is private and quiet, with supernarkets and shops nearby within a short walking distance. Thank you.

It is a 5 minute walk to the beaches of Benalmadena, stretching all the way to Torremolinos passed the Marina, with various bars and restaurants to tempt you whilst you relax on holiday


Malaga airport is approx 15 mins away by Taxi ( approx 25 - 30 euro). You can take the train direct from the airport to Arroyo de la Miel approx 1-2 euro) where you can get a taxi to the house (5- 6 euro) or just walk through town for 5 mins to the house. We can send yo the easy to follow route directions. ( We take the train from the airport when we visit our house)

Further Details:

Supermarkets and shops close by, and some of our favourite restaurants are only a short stroll from the house

Booking Notes:
50% Deposit on booking Remainder 8/12 weeks prior to travel depending on how many payment in total 2/3
Either pay by your PayPal account or via Bank transfer or Cheque (UK)
A Damages/Cleaning deposit of £200 pounds charged and returned upon the house being returned in good order.

We Do Not accept all male/female parties - hen/stag parties.

Changeover day
Normally Saturday. Depart 10.30am. The property is available to new arrivals after 3pm. However we do accept mid week arrivals and departures.

Changeover Day:
We prefer Saturday but subject to time of year we are flexible

Cleaning :
Our costs include the cost of preparing the house for you. We request that the house be clean and tidy upon your departure ( we don't expect linen etc to be cleaned) if the house is left dirty then a charge of £80 will be deducted from the security deposit - Please dispose of Rubbish in Bins provided
Pool is normally open June - September
