Cottage in Swanage, Dorset - Great Location On Swanage High Street, 10 Minutes Walk To The Beach.

3 bedroom holiday cottage with off-road parking and great location on Swanage high street. Built in 2008 & finished to a very high standard. Has the advantage of a 2nd bedroom floor so master bedroom (with en-suite) has its own door to additional stair case so if sharing with friends or family you have privacy. Each floor has a flat screen TV with Freeview and DVD player. There are hundreds of DVD's for all ages, games, beach equipment, toy chest. Owner provides; tea, coffee, toilet rolls and high speed internet (BT Infinity) Owner is very helpful about the house and local area. House gets great reviews and is extremely clean. An excellent property - absolutely perfect!

We stayed for a week at Easter with our two daughters (11 and 13) and had a fantastic time. The house is so very well equipped and to a exceptionally high standard. There is a vast amount of DVDs in the house to choose from and a toy box on the landing which our girls loved! Buckets and spades etc are provided which is really handy. The house has a nautical, modern theme which we really liked. It is in a great location being within walking distance of the shops, restaurants and beach. We are already planning to return next year. There is so much to see and do in the Purbeck area and this house is the prefect place to stay. A real home from home!

Beautiful cottage

This is a beautiful, well equipped cottage a short walk from the seafront. It was spotlessly clean, well maintained and the information book made it very easy for us to adjust the heating etc. It was our second stay here and we will definitely be back.

There is everything you could need, including lots of toys for young children.

Chris, the owner, is great to deal with. He was very accommodating of our requests and extending our stay and equally understanding when we had a small wine spillage.

Beautiful holiday home and superb hosts

We stayed at Seashells for my birthday weekend. The house is beautiful inside and out. Every detail has been thought of. Toys for children to play with, loads of dvds to watch, comfy beds and a peaceful location. Parking is a definite plus too. The owner was brilliant at communicating and every question answered quickly. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

Perfect Cottage in a Great Location!!

We loved our stay at this cottage. It had everything you needed and was decorated beautifully. The location was great with many lovely walks and amenities within a short walk. This is a beautiful part of the country to explore in a fantastic cottage. Chris was very helpful with our booking and answered all our questions very quickly. We are hoping to return next year.

Car: not necessary

Special interest holidays:

Swanage and the Purbecks is an ideal family location and also for those who enjoy walking, climbing or cycling. It is also popular for fishing with boat trips, pier and mackerel fishing available. Swanage hosts a fantastic carnival week, RNLI week, Jazz, Blues and Folk festivals, firework displays and Punch and Judy shows – not to mention the infamous Fancy Dress New Year festivities. There are some wonderful restaurants and cafes, great transport links and a real steam railway to Corfe Castle.

Coast/Beach:

10 minutes walk to the beach, 1 minute to local supermarket (7-11).

Travel:

Best way from London direction to go is via Bournemouth, through Sand Banks and across to Studland bay via the Chain Ferry, which is £4.10 each way so make sure you have the cash to hand.
