Apartment in Lympstone, Nr. Exmouth, South Devon, England - In A Very Peaceful Semi Rural Location Close To Exmouth Beach, Topsham And Budleigh Salterton

The apartment, with stunning views, is built in the grounds of our house. It has an open plan livingroom and kitchen and one bedroom ( with kingsize double bed) and bathroom with bath and shower.

It is a 10 minute walk to the lovely village of Lympstone with store, coffee shop and 3 pubs/ restaurants.

There is a train station on the Exmouth to Exeter line.

The cycle path along the estuary is lovely for walking or cycling. Exmouth Beach is only 10 minutes away.

About the Owner

We are David, retired chartered civil engineer and Ali, Dutch and retired teacher and moved to Devon in 2009. After living and working abroad for many years, we lived in Hampshire for 25 years.

David always wanted to retire to Devon and it has been an excellent decision. We built a beautiful new house in 2011 and enjoying life here with golf, gardening, tennis etc.

It is so peaceful here with stunning views and sunsets over the estuary. There are several footpaths to the village and we regularly stroll to the village for a drink or a bite to eat.

Well equipped accommodation with breathtaking view

Property is in a lovely secluded area but easy and pleasant walks into the village. We don't have a car but the transport links are excellent and we were able to explore the Jurassic coast and the other side of the estuary with no difficulties. The pubs in the village are great for eating. Will definitely return and would highly recommend this accommodation

A super holiday flat, great views and lovely hosts

The accommodation is fantastic for couples wishing to tour Devon. Its comfortable well equipped, has wonderful modern decor and is spotlessly clean. Hosts Ali and David are helpful and make you feel very much at home. Not having been to Devon before, my wife and myself did all the main attractions; Dartmoor National Park, Exmouth, Salcombe, Dartmouth, Teignmouth, Sidmouth and more! All were in easy reach by car or rail from the flat. I highly recommend this accommodation you will not be disappointed.

Great location, good facilities,

Modern, clean apartment with lovely views, good outdoor space. Friendly and welcoming owners.Listing was totally accurate, in fact it could have emphasised the highly convenient setting. The property was immaculate and very well maintained. The owners were always asking us if everything was OK. Friendly but not intrusive. I would definitely recommend the property to others. The village has three pub\restaurants two of which we tried and liked. The Redwing was excellent. The property was so well located that we hardly used the car during the week of our stay. It was fabulous.

Lovely apartment

This is the second time we have stayed here within a year! It is such a peaceful area with lovely walks so once here you can leave the car. There are good places to eat out in the village too.

The apartment is great , very clean and comfortable with nice views. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay once again.

An Excellent Holiday

We have just spent a week at this fantastic apartment in Devon, the place is perfect and the owners are now true friends. The area is so peaceful and restfull with an excellent resturant / pub within easy walking distance. The whole area is tranquil but if you want walks, cycling or just to relax this is certainly some where to go, we can not recommend this too highly, we will be going back!

To a couple looking for a break this is certainly a place to consider and we would certainly recommend this new, very clean and well maintained property and the owners are available for help and advice.
