Apartment in St. Ives - Unique Character Townhouse 5 Minutes' Walk From Beach, Harbour & Tate

Porthmeor Heights is a fantastically spacious and extremely bright modern apartment over two floors with open plan lounge/kitchen diner. It is situated above Porthmeor Beach on an elevated position, just 5 minutes’ walk from beach, Tate Gallery and town centre. At the front of the property is a small patio with a table and two chairs. There is parking outside the property in a private car park for one vehicle. The modern interior has recently been completely refurbished and features attractive contemporary artworks from local artists, a vast range of books and a large selection of DVDs, + broadband connection. The property has everything one would need to feel completely at home, from hairdryers to books and children's games, two TVs, travel cot and highchair, and much more. Weekly bookings run from Saturday to Saturday. Book a fortnight and get £50 off!

We are mainly renting out in July and August, but other dates may be available (p.o.a.), so please get in touch.

Porthmeor Heights has a very good letting record and is popular with families as it is very spacious, close to the beach and town, set away from the road and close to a nearby green space. We provide everything that people need to have a break that feels like 'home away from home'. I pride myself on providing a very friendly, accommodating and personable service for my guests.

Why Martina Heintke chose Saint Ives

I bought this property because if was so fantastically big, so close to everything, set away from the road so no noise from any traffic and best of all for St. Ives, it has private secure parking. I can be down on the beach in just 5 minutes walk, or at the Tate Gallery or centre of town for that matter, and can also walk in the other direction towards Burthhallan Lane and in 5 minutes I'm on a quiet country lane that leads me onto the coastal path to Zennor. Porthmeor Heights gives me the best of both worlds - and I never need a taxi home after a night out!

What makes this house unique

The property is unique - anywhere! With 5 m high ceiling and open plan design it really must be seen to be believed. The open feel really makes this holiday special, as the whole family gets together sharing quality time in plenty of space and a bright, warm and great interior.

Spacious, clean and light accommodation, along with an ideal location meant that we enjoyed a superb holiday. The house is situated within easy walking distance of beaches and the town, and is very quiet at night. Martina made us very welcome, and we easily found everything we needed in the house, which was kept to a very high standard. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this property to others, particularly those with children.

Overall we had a great stay at the apartment in St. Ives. Located very close to everything you could need and the place was fantastically furnished. The only criticism was that the TV was very small and it was quite a pain if you wanted to watch a DVD having to switch cable underneath the TV, but apart from that we all loved it!

Booking Notes:
Please email us your booking requirements (dates, number of people, children, etc.) and we will get back to you asap. A deposit of 25% must be made to reserve the dates, a final payment must be received 4 weeks' prior to commencement of your holiday. Payments are to be made by BACS or Paypal (if made by Paypal, any Paypal charges will be added to your bill). The deposit will be refunded into your bank account if after cleaning the property no breakages or damage is found.

Changeover Day:
Preferred changeover day is Saturday.
Departure time is 10 am. Access to the property is given at 3 pm.

25% deposit payable when making the reservation; remainder of 75% payable 6 weeks prior to arrival date; payment by BACS

Owner's Cancellation Policy

  • 50% refund for cancellations more than 7 days before check-in date.
  • 100% refund for cancellations more than 14 days before check-in date.
  • Service Fee fully refunded on cancellations that qualify for 100% refund.
