Notes on accommodation:
A popular cottage offering a tranquil break
This is one of our most popular cottages, which together with its neighbouring cottage the Barn was also a former milking parlour.
The cottage is has a porch area for outdoor clothing, a fully equipped modern kitchen with an electric halogen hob cooker, microwave, fridge-freezer box together with utensils, toaster and kettle, cafeteria and dining table.
Off the kitchen is a cosy living room with original beams and a Danish Morso wood burning stove as well as central heating. There is a double bedroom with en-suite bathroom, which contains a shower and heated towel rail. All your linen and towels are provided and beds are made up prior to arrival. From the bedroom you have French doors leading to a south facing patio with sitting out area. Like The Dairy the view from the elevated position allows stunning views across Parc Newydd lakes & open countryside beyond.

Parc Newydd Cottages and fishing lakes offering short or long term holidays of the highest quality. Tucked away in a very peaceful and tranquil part of the countryside and in the heart of the stunning Isle of Anglesey, our holiday cottages are in a beautiful setting, and are ideally placed to enjoy easy access to all parts of the Island and award winning sandy beaches of the coast. The atmosphere at Parc Newydd is one of total comfort and relaxation and every care is taken to ensure your stay is of the highest standard at all times. Parc Newydd also has two beautiful lakes for the use of the Guests, either for strolls or for fishing, which is free to residents. The Fishery also has a log cabin with decked area which is ideal for larger groups to hold BBQs. Our guests, who come from near and far, tell us that they spend more time than they thought just relaxing at Parc Newydd, spending quality time together.
Parc Newydd was bought by The Evans Family in 1981 as a working sheep farm, and was farmed by us until 1992. During this time, the semi derelict outbuildings were restored and converted one by one into holiday cottages, and Parc Newydd Cottages were opened in 1989.
Mrs E. Evans purchased this cottage in 1980
Parc Newydd is no longer farmed, but is now fished! In 1989 we undertook a new project, being the creation of Llyn Edna, a fly fishery, and the tree line walk from the Cottages to the lake. In 2003, Andrew began work in the fields to the front of the cottages where now sits a beautiful Coarse Fishery and log cabin. A new bridge made out of the salvaged wood of Beaumaris Pier, is the next project.
The Mill and The Smithy remain unconverted and are projects for the future!
The tranquillity of Parc Newydd is one of the main reasons our regular guests come back year after year. It is a place you can truly relax and unwind and we could not agree more. The only sound is the sound of silence interrupted by song birds that have made the 10,000 trees we have planted home. The walks around the lakes have matured and whether you fancy fishing for trout or just sitting on the cabin deck lakeside it truly is a magical place.
Telephone and email reservations will be held up to seven days pending receipt of the booking form and payment of one third deposit. The balance is due 28 days before arrival. Cheques should be made payable to Parc Newydd.
