The penthouse is located in the Polaris resort of Las Terrazas de la Torre and benefits from a beautiful balcony furnished with a top quality sofa, patio table and chairs where you can relax admiring the stunning views and amazing sunsets, the patio also has a sun canopy that can be extended if it gets too hot. For those looking for all day sun there is a large roof terrace with even further reaching views. In front of the penthouse there is large swimming pool which again offers great views, there are also sun beds that you can use by the pool or take to the beach. There is a 18 hole golf course which is of a fantastic standard of a Jack Nicklaus design, it boasts long sand traps along fairways and around the green giving even the best golfers a challenging game - bringing in golfers from near and far.

Why TRACEY WALSH chose Murcia - Costa Calida

It has a good mix of Spanish and English speaking people. We wanted to immerse ourselves in the Spanish culture but have some neighbours who speak our language too!

We use the apartment as a base as it near the highway links central to lots of activities.

There are great beaches nearby and many golf courses to choose from, one being on your doorstep.

What makes this apartment unique

Also being only 10 minute drive from the airport (but not being on the flightpath) its so convenient once you land.

Coast/Beach:

There are many local beaches like Los Alcazares, Lo Pagan, San Pedro within 10 to 15 minutes drive.

Travel:

Nearest airport is San Javier (Murcia Airport) which is a ten minute drive away, approx 1 hour drive is Alicante, both have excellent deals with Ryanair and Jet 2 from many airports all over the UK. Car hire is not essential but highly recommended.

Distances:

Within the resort there is well stocked supermarket which even makes fresh bread everyday. Also there is bar and restaurant which the owner is very friendly and accommodating with many themed nights for your entertainment.

Further Details:

The main attractions of San Pedro are concentrated around the beach. Here you will find Lo Pagan, a lively tourist centre which has all kinds of holiday facilities, hotels, bars, restaurants and shops. Next to the long promenade facing the Mar Menor are extensive beaches such as La Puntica or Villananitos.

San Pedro has an excellent marina and water-sports facilities, windsurfing, fishing, sailing, water skiing, scuba diving, snorkelling, jet skiing, and of course mud bathing further along in Lo Pagan.

The surrounding area near the Quintin Mill contains the Salinas de San Pedro del Pinatar Regional Park, with marked walking trails, and many species of migratory birds and flamingos. You can also benefit from the Therapeutic mud and salt water lakes for bathing.

LO PAGAN - An old fashioned seaside town with a long promenade and a fantastic walk across the lagoons to La Manga Strip, (several miles) although you can't actually walk all the way across.

Lo Pagan has many hotels offering thermal, salt

and mud baths but you can try these for free

in the lagoons here.

Mud is supposed to be very good for your skin.

If you decide to do this then be prepared and

do as the locals do. Take a plastic bucket

and towel, a sponge or small flannel (to wash

bits of mud left behind after rinsing off).

Take the mud from under the water and cover

yourself with the stuff, you can put it on

your face like a mask and even on your hair,

then walk around, it’s important that you

don’t sit down at this stage until it all dries

and turns a grey colour (about 30 minutes) Then enter the water, the mud will be squashy and warm under your feet, cooler water lies on top, just float around like everyone else for at least 20 minutes and then wash it off with the cooler sea water.

Next walk across the pier until you see the clear salt lagoons and enter the water and float around for another ten minutes or so (you will find the flamingos have joined you). Great Fun!

Cleaning Fee £63

Booking Notes:
25% of rental fee required at time of booking, 100% to be paid 8 weeks prior to booking along with £150.00 refundable security bond to be returned within 1 week after inspection by management company.
The cleaning charge of €70 is to be paid locally direct to the management company on arrival.

Changeover Day:
Normally if the apartment is fully booked back to back arrival is 3pm and on departure day you must leave the apartment at 11am. However we are very flexible and if there are no bookings either side we are happy for you to stay as late as needed.
