Lovely weekend away
About the Owner
The cottage is on the farm I grew up on, and my family make up a high percentage of the neighbours. I visit frequently, but have lived in London for over 30 years.

"Relaxing Country Retreat. Bliss!
Family of 3 and one dog stayed for a week in July. We really enjoyed this lovely property ideally located close to Crieff and yet surrounded by beautiful countryside. The cottage was spotless, well stocked and the welcome pack was more than generous. We all enjoyed the garden particularly as the weather was so good. Many thanks." Dotty August 2014
"Ginny thank you for allowing us to stay in your beautiful cottage-a fabulous area, great village with wonderful Italian deli ! We were amazed at the attention to detail from quality linen to kindling for the fire in Farm workers cottage (Bluebell) -one of my best experiences in 3weeks travels of Scotland. All the little treats were most appreciated and the cottage and ease of communications were beyond expectations . -highly recommended!" Lynda July 2014
"Me, my wife and our 2 kids stayed here for 3 nights during April. We were pleasantly surprised by the upkeep of the cottage. It is a real cozy place and the kids really enjoyed the stay. It is surrounded by scenery and in the evening as you come out of the cottage, you see cows grazing on the other side of the road - just like a postcard from Scotland came to life. The cottage has everything you need for a relaxing vacation. Easy access to all places to visit, yet far away from it all. Highly recommended. " SJ April 2014

Lovely weekend away
Myself and five friends had a lovely time over a long weekend at Ginny's cottage. All communication before our arrival was clear and lots of information was provided about the house and the area. The cottage has a really nice feel to it and the location is very peaceful, whilst still very close to Crieff and all the shops/restaurants you might need. Would definitely recommend!
Brilliant October break
Just returned from Bluebell Cottage after a wonderful holiday. My family had the best time in this charming cosy home. We took our border collie with us who loved the beautiful walks and (lucky us) fantastic weather.we arrived to find a welcome pack which was great and I must say the attention to detail for the visitor is excellent. Crieff has great resteraunts which we tried and were really pleased with them. We would recommend Bluebell cottage to anyone who loves the beautiful Creiff countryside. We will be back.
Perfect Holiday Cottage
We stayed in Bluebell Cottage for a week in July and only wished we could have stayed for longer.
The Cottage was as described and the location was ideal, close enough to Crieff and yet surrounded by peaceful countryside. It was clean and comfortable, with a real homely feel. The Cottage had everything we needed and more. The owner had thought of everything and left a very generous welcome pack. We spent a lot of time in the garden as the weather was so good and enjoyed the great views. I can definitely recommend this property as an ideal base to explore he area.
I had a really lovely week at Bluebell Cottage. The cottage is bright and fresh. I loved it in the morning time, especially. I had two dogs with me and I was able to feel at home with them with plenty of room for their space and mine! We had lots of great walks along the river between, and beyond, Crieff and Comrie and into the hills behind. We all went home fit and refreshed. I got to know the regular dog walkers in Crieff very quickly. Great café in the park for the end of a good walk. I loved the garden and had good weather to be able to enjoy it. Thank you for foody bits which made the start of the holiday even easier. Thank you. Loved it. Hope to be back.
Just had the most relaxing week in a long time thanks to the comfort of Bluebell cottage Crieff would recommend this cosy warm spacious cottage ,to anyone seeking a quiet location with stunning scenery .
Thank you Ginny for the personal touches the wine and food pack, firewood were much appreciated and a really nice touch to welcome guests .look forward to visiting again next year should a week be available i would not hesitate to bring my family and friends really enjoyed my stay and wish you all the best for years to come
Lovely spacious cottage which was freshly decorated. Everything that you could need was available, including lots of extra treats. The owner has obviously put a lot of thought into it and the personal touches really make the difference. Only the two of us this time but plenty of room for four. Great location, feels like you really are out in the countryside but only a few minutes in the car from shops, caf?s and pubs in Crieff. Great walks from the front door which our dog loved. We would love to return with the rest of the family soon.
From the Owner
“The property has been in the family since it was built for one of the dairymen on the farm, which at that time had a large dairy herd. The farm is now a mixed organic farm. The countryside is wonderful, with great walks, cycling, water-sports etc. The road outside the cottage is busier than it used to be, but still a fairly quiet road. The view from the living rooms is of fields often with cows. Red kite and buzzards can be seen overhead. Pied wagtails etc dot the garden.”
