This beautiful, well-equipped Provençal villa is situated on a quiet country road within easy walking distance of the village of Flayosc. The villa has the advantage of a lovely swimming pool (with 'abri' for the spring and autumn months) set in delightful well-stocked gardens. There is a boules court for that essential Provençal game and a table tennis table with bats and balls. There is also a trampoline in the garden (with safety net). Internally this property is a home from home with everything you would expect for comfortable living. Home entertainment is of high quality with most European TV channels, DVD player, games console, stereo system, iPod dock with integrated speakers.

About the Owner

We fell in love with Flayosc and the surrounding area several years ago. It is so relaxing and beautiful. We have spent many wonderful holidays in the village with our family. We find the locals friendly and welcoming. We feel so at home here we decided to get married here and now spend our holidays with our twin boys here every year. The boys are well known to the local villagers who spoil them at every opportunity!

We had really good time, seven hot days .The villa was ideal

for us , outdoor meals , pool which the kids loved and the games.

Flayosc is a lovely village ,good markets good food good art.

We were just getting to the area when it was time to go. We found a

stunning waterfall with a series of smaller ones magical in light and shade

beautiful !

Great place in a great location

The property was great and even exceeded our expectations!

Really with all we needed and in particular we enjoyed the great covered terrace and the pool 3 meters from this.

The area was nice and in walking distance to the little nice village Flayosc.

Also we found the former track from Train des Pignes very close by and with a great walk to Lorgues.

A lovely Villa in a great location

We were 4 adults and 4 children that stayed here for two weeks in July / August 2015.

The house itself is great and really well setup with lots to do. We spent nearly all of our time in the outdoor kitchen which has everything you need including large table, built in BBQ and small sink. In addition it is about 2 metres from the pool so ideal to sit there and keep an eye on the older children swimming.

Flayosc is a lovely village and has almost everything you need including bakers, restaurants, and small grocery stores. Anything else is in the nearby town (10 min drive) of Draguignan. In addition you can easily drive from here to places like Monaco, Nice, Cannes, St Tropez, and Grasse, and there is a lovely waterfall and restaurants at the nearby Villecroz.

The team who manage the property and the owner are very responsive to any questions.

One minor recommendation I would make is for the owners to add air conditioning to the bedrooms (one has it already), allowing increased flexibility in where the children can sleep.

Villa Aramesh

We stayed here with our extended family of children and grandparents. The grandparents particularly appreciated the studio with its own bathroom.

The house managed to provide us all with privacy and yet keep us all together at the same time.

The pool was a big hit wit the children.

As was the pretty garden, with boules court, table tennis table and trampoline!

All this within walking distance of the village with its many cafes and restaurants.

A perfect holiday!

Villa Aramesh

We stayed at Villa Aramesh for 2 weeks in september last year, with our children. The children had lots of fun and did nt want to leave the pool!

The house was really clean and beautiful. The scenery was from your dreams!

The view was really fantastic, you can see the mountains from the house!

We felt totally at ease and relaxed.

We would love to come back again!

It was a very very nice. We felt very much at home. The house was really clean and we had everything we needed there.

The house is perfect for children.

The swimming pool was also very clean.

The area was pretty and the people were very nice and friendly.

Lovely house with nice view

We stayed at the house 6 kids and 4 adults, and there was plenty of space. The house is perfect for so many people, especially because of the out door kitchen and the nice pool, which the kids nearly spent all their time in.

The house was really clean and well maintained.

Both the owner and the team managing the house were responsive to any questions.

I can for sure recommend this house for all other guest.

We had a lovely vacation.

Activity and Interests

Car: recommended

Coast/Beach:

The Riviera is only a short drive away - St Maxime, St Raphael, Cannes, Antibes amongst many other Mediterranean towns and villages. Of course St Tropez is also easily accessible - but remember to take a water taxi from St Maxime in the summer months to avoid the traffic jams to this popular resort situated on a peninsula! Don't forget that there are also beaches at Lac St Croix which are much quieter and just as good if not quite as glamorous as the Côte d'Azur!

Travel:

The villa is easily accessed by air (Nice 90 kms, Toulon 79 kms and also Marseille), TGV train (Les Arcs-Draguignan - 15kms) and by road (Junction 36 at Le Muy, A8). Car hire is advisable if you wish to take advantage of all of the wonderful villages, the Gorge du Verdon and the coast. However, the village with a huge variety of shops and services is only 15 minutes by foot so visitors may be self sufficient without transport.

Distances:

Flayosc is well situated with ready access to surrounding villages Lorgues, Salernes and Toutour. The local town of Draguignan is only 8 kms away. The coast is easily accessible with St Maxime only 45 minutes by car and a short ferry crossing from here leads you to St Tropez.

The village is well equipped with 2 small supermarkets, fresh fish shop, butcher, delicatessen, 3 bakers, chemist, 3 doctors, a dentist, bank, post office, gift shops, 4 bars 2 of which serve food and (at last count) 8 restaurants! A famous truffle restaurant is to be found in a nearby village only 15 minutes' drive away. The local town of Draguignan is only 8 kms away and has large supermarkets and a variety of shops. Provençal markets are held in the local villages almost every day of the week: Monday Flayosc, Tueday Lorgues, Wednesday Draguignan, Thursday Bargemom, Friday Le Luc en Provence, Saturday Aups and Draguignan amongst many others. Flayosc is ideally situated half way between the spectacular Gorge du Verdon and the sophisticated Mediterranean coast. From here you can easily visit Monaco, Nice, Cannes, Antibes, St Tropez, Marseille and the wonderful cities of Aix-en-Provence, Avignon and Orange are accessible too.

Please note that due to a very steep staircase to the mezzanine level of Bedroom 3 this area would be suitable only for children over the age of 8. Outside: This property is fully fenced with electric gates offering security to families with children. The 2000m2 garden is extensively stocked with Mediterranean plants attracting bees and butterflies and has secluded corners where you can sit and enjoy the views in peace and quiet. The 8 x 4 private swimming pool is available all year round. A separate shower cubicle is provided for bathers. The swimming pool has a large 'abri' style cover which is fitted during the cooler months keeping the water warm on sunny days. Close to house and pool, the covered terrace with built in barbecue, sink and dining area offers shade from the sun in summer. There is a purpose built boules court and a set of boules is provided. There is a full sized table tennis table with bats and balls. There is also a trampoline. A large table is provided on the covered terrace and small tables and chairs in other quiet corners of the lovely garden.
