Before Yellow Sands was transformed for summer 2013, it was always a very popular holiday home with guests returning year after year, with very few vacant weeks even in November/January time. 0ur first guests for this summer have now arrived (who have stayed many times before) and they think the

changes are amazing - same ideal location but now the big advantage of a

truly luxury home.

Had everything we wanted

We chose this property for our group because of the facilities, we were not disappointed. House is to a very high standard with particularly high quality bathrooms. Bonus is the view, ever changing with the tides, always something going on. Padstow is a superb village and only a 15 minute walk away. We even tried the Camel Trail using the bikes provided, all part of the high standard this property offers. We all hope to come back soon. Will recommend to friends and family.

Yellow Sands - What a wonderful house to spend your holiday!

Everything was just perfect. The house is in a superb position, front line positioning overlooking the camel estuary but within a couple of minutes walk into Padstow centre. In real time a 3 minute walk door to door to Rick Steins seafood restaurant and all on the flat!

The constantly changing view is amazing whether you are enjoying it from your bedroom window, lounge, kitchen or the first floor balcony.

The house is extremely luxurious and is equipped to the very highest standard a real deluxe home from home. The beds and bedding are so comfortable as are the large leather sofas in both the downstairs and upstairs lounge areas.The pool table was very well used during our stay.

I would definitely recommend this house, in fact I didn't want to go home and have already booked again for next year.

Activity and Interests

Coast/Beach:

There are seven local beaches all within a few miles. Haryln Bay & Constantine Bay both have half a mile of glorious safe sandy beaches and are a surfers dream.

Porthcothan, Trevone and Treyarnon are also ideallic sandy bays.

The nearest beach at Padstow ( Tregulls Bay) is approx 20 minutes walk and also

has a beautiiful sandy beach and rock pools for mussel hunting.!

Travel:

Newquay airport is approx 25 minutes drive away. Car hire is available.

Distances:

A few minutes walk away and you are in the centre of Padstow. Which has

restaurants, bars, boat trips, local shops, banks, post office, library etc.

St Merryn village is 3 miles away and has several restaurants, shops, two pubs

that do great family food.

Further Details:

Prideaux Place in Padstow, Eden Project at St.Austell, there are many theme parks only a short drive away. Waterworld and Zoo at Newquay.

Main supermarkets are in Padstow and Wadebridge.

It could not be in a more desirable location being within easy reach of all the amenities (First class restaurants, bars, bistros, coffee bars.) Also the famous Rick Steins Seafood Restaurant. The busy harbour which is still used as a fishing port, or try catching a crab from the harbour wall. Prideaux Place & the Deer Park is well worth a visit. Walk around the harbour and up the slope to the cliff top fields and it will lead you to the sandy beaches or catch the ferry over to the beaches at Rock. This home sleeps 10 guests in total comfort, with the advantage of having 2 lounge areas, balconies with breathtaking views, a games room, spacious kitchen & dining area, all equipped to the highest standard. In 2014 this amazing property will offer 5 bedrooms sleeping 10 guests , 4 en suites and a family bathroom , perfect for sharing with family and friends!
