Why Chris Roe chose Cannes - Grasse - Antibes

We love the Provençal stone build and the tranquil setting. Built in the early 1800's, the original floors and ceilings have been preserved. We've kept the decor in keeping with the provençal farmhouse design, whilst still providing a chic, authentic feel to the property. It's a great location as it's close to ski fields, beaches, and also some of the Riveria's charming stone villages.

What makes this villa unique

We love the infinity pool, the flood lit boules pitch and the vast terrace that makes it wonderful to entertain guests. Nestled in the hills of Grasse, we also love the tranquility and privacy of the area. A great place for a quiet retreat, but also wonderful to celebrate special events like anniversaries or weddings.

A stunning property which was great for a special birthday and mixed family group

The farmhouse is sat in a fabulous location, stunning views and a really homely feel to it.

We were a mixed family across the generations so everyone had their own space. The top floors of the Mas had recently been renovated to a good standard and we understand the master suite is next (good news as the shower needed it).

The Mas has all the facilities you need for a relaxing break and a great outside terrace and BBQ area. We loved our evenings there and special memories were created.

Lovely bed linen, towels etc provided so you can just turn up for a stay. A welcome pack provided helped us find our way around.

We would recommend.

Amazing Provençale Farmhouse, great location

Loved our stay at Mas Chapelle. A traditional old farm house, beautifully decorated, and a truly authentic Provencal vibe. Lots of indoor and outdoor space so great for us being a group of 10. Great boules pitch on the terrace and superb views. Well maintained pool and gardens, comfortable beds and good quality linen. Great location and a short drive to our favorite village in Valbonne. Good privacy also, didn't hear or see Neighbours. We've already booked to go back next summer!

Perfection at Mas de la Chappelle, Grasse

We have just returned from a two week stay at this wonderful property. A group of 12 stayed at the house to celebrate a number of 70th birthdays. The house catered for all age groups in our travelling party which ranged from 25 to 70 yrs. The house was exactly as described, including bed sizes which can be a bit hit and miss with accuracy on some sites, and has all of the amenities to have the most enjoyable holiday. There are the most fabulous fig trees on this property that we enjoyed the fruit of each day. We spent most days exploring the Riviera by car which is the only way to travel around and is a necessity as you really cant walk to any shops. At the end of each day, we all loved returning to the house for a refreshing swim in the gorgeous pool, followed by drinks overlooking the countryside, and sea on a clear day, followed a game of boules. The location of the house is perfect for access to Cannes, Nice, Monaco, Antibes and not to mention the delightful medieval towns of Gourdon, Mougins and St Paul de Vence. The owners, Jacqui and Chris, provided a detailed recommendations list covering supermarkets (E.Le Clerc - Amazing!), restaurants to beach clubs, most of which we followed and all were terrific recommendations. They even sourced an excellent caterer for us, for one of the birthday celebrations that we held at the house, whose food and service made the day incredibly memorable. Jacqui and Chris were excellent to deal with in the lead up to the holiday, which gave me piece of mind when organising such a large group of people all the way from the other side of the world! I would definitely recommend this house for anyone wanting to a wonderful holiday in the South of France.

Fantastic location great company and fab hosts and manager, highly recommend the villa

Owners Jacqui and Chris have gone to great lengths to ensure you enjoy not only their villa but the surrouronding country side. They left us local wine and baguettes as well as coffee for the machine. Property manager Lorriane is both insightful and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble and she is on call to answer any questions. We had a great stay with our very dear friends and loved the setting and the pool. Thanks for a fabulous introduction to Provence. Xx
