The apartment is fully heated but there is the extra use of a storage heater should you need it. There is no extra charge for bedding or utility bills. Towels not supplied. on the same floor is a wash room with coin opperated washer and dryer

Very Comfortable Stay

We stayed for 3 weeks and found that Ilfracombe was the perfect base to explore both the local area and also nearby Somerset and Cornwall. We found The Searock to be modern, well equipped and very clean - just what we needed to complete our stay. Would definitely recommend to others- thank you.

fantastic location

the apartment was perfect for our stay being on level walking to harbour shops etc. it is modern and well equipped. the owner was very helpful and recommended loads of things to do what ever the weather. would stay again

The description of what is provided is very accurate. The location is excellent with a new Wetherspoons pub closeby but not to worry there is no noise to be heard from it. The flat was very clean and well maintained. The owner was very helpful beforehand as we thought we may be delayed and unable to collect keys, so they sent us a spare set which was really nice providing we send them back Recorded Delivery on our return. Although no parking at property, there is parking not too far away and you can obtain a weekly parking permit from the Tourist Information which can also be used in Croyde and Barnstaple so considerable saving on cost. There are plenty of cafes and pubs and also nice restaurant called The Smugglers down near the harbour.

We would definitely recommend this property to a friend.

Location

Ilfracombe is the perfect location for exploring the north Devon coastline. it has a beautiful working harbour and has the new damien hirst "verity" statue bringing in tourists from around the world. there is no shortage of things to see and do. from evenings out at the local landmark theatre or cinema or enjoying meals at the many tearooms and restaurants. Ilfracombe boasts a wide variety of shops and places of interest all nestled in Victorian winding cobbled streets. for beach lovers, enjoy the miles of golden sands at nearby resorts of woolacombe and Croyde bay where you can relax on the blue flag beaches.

Activity and Interests

Car: not necessary

Coast/Beach:

There is a beach across the road from the apartment. 3 minutes walk and the harbour has a small beach 5 minutes walk. It is a 15 - 20 minutes drive to the blue flag beaches of woolacombe

Travel:

No need for car hire. Ilfracombe has a bus station where you can book long distance travel

Distances:

The busy market town of barnstaple is approximately 10 miles there are also lots of pretty villages within a fifteen mile radius.

Further Details:

ilfracombe has the best of everything with charming quaint curiosity shops and tearooms and the more contemporary styles of restaurants including the famous damien hirst restaurant amongst many others. it has a bustling high street which has banks chemists many shops and there is a 24 hour supermarket. 5 minutes drive away. ilfracombe has a local swimming pool and the famous "tunnels beach" dating back to the Victorian times.

searock apartment is located on the second floor. it is in level walking to harbour shops and car parks five minutes short stroll. on entering the apartment there is one double bedroom with built in wardrobe. fully tiled shower room with wc and hand basin. the living area is a good size open plan kitchen diner with oven, ceramic hob, microwave, kettle and toaster. there is a breakfast bar which seats four. in the main living are there is two leather sofas one of which is a sofa bed, range of soft furnishing and large flat screen tv. the apartment is fully heated but there is the extra use of a storage heater should you need it. there is no extra charge for bedding or utility bills. towels not supplied.
