'The Cowshed' - Three-Bedroom Holiday Cottage, Little Molleston,

Overview

Property

Updated: 02-Jul-2016
Cottage in Narberth, Pembrokeshire, Wales - Accessible but secluded woodland setting close to many tourist attractions

Affectionately known as "The Cowshed", the holiday cottage at Little Molleston is a recently converted outbuilding linked to the main former farmhouse but provides independent accommodation for up to five adults or a family, with an additional sixth child's bed available if required. The property is situated beside Little Molleston Wood, half a mile west of Templeton between Narberth and Tenby on the A478. Guests enjoy exclusive use of their own parking area, terrace and front garden and can come and go in comparative privacy. The rest of Little Molleston consists of a small stable yard and six acres of paddocks where the owners keep their two horses. Nearby Narberth offers a range of interesting shops and eating places, whilst the famous seaside resort of Tenby is about seven miles away. The well-known holiday attractions of Oakwood Adventure Park, the Blue Lagoon Water Park at Bluestone and Folly Farm with its fairground, zoo and theatre are all within about three miles.

Blissful retreat.

  • 5 of 5

My family and I have stayed in this fabulous cottage on many occasions. Brian and Janet are incredibly obliging but also respectful of your privacy. The cottage is beautiful, well equipped and very comfortable. I wouldn't consider staying anywhere else now. The setting is wonderful for observing wildlife and only a very short distance away from Narberth and the delights of this quaint town. If you are looking for a quiet break in superb accommodation in a cottage that has been finished to a very high standard then look no further. You wil not be disappointed.

lovely!

This was by far the best cottage we have stayed in in Pembrokeshire in our 3 years of family holidays in the area. It is comfortable and well equipped, and being able to spread out onto the terrace and surrounding grounds was fun for the children and relaxing for adults. The owners are just next door, although most of the time you wouldn't know anyone was there, and could not have been more helpful - lending my sister a raincoat, lighting the barbeque for us, and letting the children sit on their horses, to name a few things they did for us!

The cottage is a few miles inland so nice and quiet, but not far from Amroth, Saundersfoot and Tenby beaches. Folly Farm is just down the road, and it's easy to get to other attractions in Pembrokeshire.

I'd definitely recommend this place and we intend to be back in 2014!
