About the Owner

My wife runs a small business with our youngest daughter, she loves meeting people and has great sense of humour. I have loved and worked with old buildings for many years and continue to help clients, when they run into problems with difficult repairs. We both enjoy and value our down time together, we are always looking forward to and planning our next time out!

Like many people today we have travelled extensively, We like to stay in nice places, with a touch of luxury and charm. So we have tried to create a special destination that we would love to stay ourselves. We are therefore delighted when our guests express their pleasure in the breaks they have taken with us.

Lovely cottage with hot tub

  • 5 of 5

Had a lovely stay at this quirky cottage with hot tub. It is set on wonderful grounds where the owner Clive also lives and is on hand to help with any queries.

The cottage is really comfortable and is nicely decorated. It has a fully functioning kitchen and the hot tub in the garden adds to the luxury.

We stayed for 4 nights but wish we had more! Colwall is a small village but you are close to some other lovely places with lots of amenities. Wouldn't recommend and revisit! Thanks for a great stay.

Location

From the Owner

We both fell in love with Oldcastle Farm when we first saw it, my wife loved the Tudor framed buildings named in the doomsday book which we have carefully restored over the years, I was taken with the position, sitting in the foothills of the Malverns, tucked away in a beautiful spot, with views to die for. We are part of a pretty village, with classic cricket green and Norman church. We are so close to all the amenities, the village and towns close by, with many social and cultural attractions, throughout the year.

Facilities

From the Owner

Our four children have now all left home, I like to cycle and walk the hills, my wife likes to relax in true tranquillity. We both love the gardens and the lake with its wildlife, the duck chicks in the spring, it all gives us great pleasure as the seasons unfold. We are keen for our guests to enjoy all that Oldcastle offers and perhaps also to be captured by its atmosphere and beauty, as we have been.
