There are two further cottages, for a larger party, a one bed and two bed cottage both with hot tubs.
My wife runs a small business with our youngest daughter, she loves meeting people and has great sense of humour. I have loved and worked with old buildings for many years and continue to help clients, when they run into problems with difficult repairs. We both enjoy and value our down time together, we are always looking forward to and planning our next time out!
Like many people today we have travelled extensively, We like to stay in nice places, with a touch of luxury and charm. So we have tried to create a special destination that we would love to stay ourselves. We are therefore delighted when our guests express their pleasure in the breaks they have taken with us.
Clive Bartram purchased this cottage in 2000
We both fell in love with Oldcastle Farm when we first saw it, my wife loved the Tudor framed buildings named in the doomsday book which we have carefully restored over the years, I was taken with the position, sitting in the foothills of the Malverns, tucked away in a beautiful spot, with views to die for. We are part of a pretty village, with classic cricket green and Norman church. We are so close to all the amenities, the village and towns close by, with many social and cultural attractions, throughout the year.
Our four children have now all left home, I like to cycle and walk the hills, my wife likes to relax in true tranquillity. We both love the gardens and the lake with its wildlife, the duck chicks in the spring, it all gives us great pleasure as the seasons unfold. We are keen for our guests to enjoy all that Oldcastle offers and perhaps also to be captured by its atmosphere and beauty, as we have been.

The cottage and grounds are stunning. Really well maintained and kept. It felt secluded however also within walking distance to all you need. Being able to get shopping delivered for our arrival was great.
The bottle of wine and chocolates are a lovely touch.
It is great to find such high standard accommodation that also allow dogs.
Will hopefully be returning soon.
