This is a lovely 3 storey Victorian mid terrace spacious cottage. Located on the beautiful North Norfolk coast on the quiet village of Weybourne, 10 minutes walk to the beach. It has 3 large bedrooms, lots of original features and enclosed rear garden with outdoor seating in the courtyard area and a picnic bench at the bottom of the garden.

About Mrs Claire Tomkinson

Barnfield cottage is our family holiday home where we have spent many fantastic holidays. We are still finding new things to do despite holidaying there for 10 years!

Weybourne is ideally situated to enjoy the coast and countryside and escape everyday urban life. The 10 minute walk to Weybourne beach to enjoy the sunset is a must.

We hope you enjoy Barnfield cottage as much as we do. We always come away feeling fully relaxed and refreshed!

Notes on accommodation: Barnfield Cottage is a perfectly situated holiday home suitable for a relaxing break or holidaying by the beach. All areas of the North Norfolk coast are accessible either by car or the Coast Hopper bus. The outside space is ideal for chilling with a glass of wine in the evening and then maybe a relaxing stroll down to the beach to watch the sunset. A beautiful location and lovely property. Please note this a No Smoking property and we do not accept dogs. Outside: Outside there is an enclosed garden with outdoor seating in the courtyard area and a picnic bench at the bottom of the garden. There are clematis,geraniums, roses and various shrubs and an apple tree. There is a small pretty garden at the front of the property too. There is parking for two cars. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Linen is included, but not towels or beach towels.

Fantastic

We were a family of 4 and grandparents and this house was perfect for us, stairs may be too steep for very small children, however sturdy but unobtrusive stair gates are fitted. The house looked lovely and had everything you could need. We had lovely weather although there were logs available if we had wanted a cosy fire. Short walk to the beach and shop and an easy drive to wonderful beaches at Holkham and Wells. We had a small prob with the sat tv but this was delt with swifly and cheerfully. We relaxed totally and would definitely like to return.

A great property

2 Barnfield Cottage was the perfect location for a mixed group of 2 'seniors' plus our family of 4. The children (11 and 8) had the most wonderful time colonising the loft and they slept really well. The rooms are all very spacious, particularly the lounge and the front bedroom, and the house is equipped with everything you need and more. We were delighted with our 'welcome' goodies and the information in the cottage was extremely useful. We had a lovely afternoon at Fellbrigg Hall, explored BeWilderwood in Horning, and despite the fairly dismal weather, thoroughly enjoyed our trips to Holkham and Wells' beaches. We ate extremely well at pubs all within a quick drive from Weybourne - and even saw the Red Arrows at Cromer Carnival. The local steam trains kept Grandpa entertained and the Shire Horse sanctuary was a big hit too. Weybourne proved to be an extremely convenient and pretty location - the village shop and The Ship Inn were both very welcoming. We thoroughly recommend the cottage and the area - a really fabulous holiday spot.

Perfect Break

Set in a quiet position, a lovely Victorian cottage, which is very spacious and well equipped throughout. The lounge and main bedroom are particularly pleasant light rooms with high ceilings and original features.

The beds are very comfortable. The patio is a real suntrap and the garden is a generous size and well kept. Parking is convenient at the rear.

Weybourne is a pleasing, quiet village and is well placed for exploring the little coastal villages and further afield. The cottage is a short walk from the village shop and pub.

The web site description is accurate and the owner was efficient and helpful at all times and we appreciated the welcome ' goodies '.

Lovely cottage

Lovely cottage and just a few minutes walk from the sea! We were greeted by a lovely welcome pack on arrival and knew that Claire was on hand if needed. The cottage is a great size, and the attic room was great fun and secure for our 2yr old. Its also a great location to access other towns/sights along the coast.
