Notes on accommodation: Boswell House is a much adored holiday home which we love to share with family and friends, so we only advertise occasional weeks. The harbour was designed by Thomas Telford in 1818 and Beaumont Crescent was built around 1835. It was described as a gentile, curving terrace for respectable families. It is a superb location and ideal base for touring the Island. Outside: Pretty front garden with bistro table and direct access to the shore. Parking for two cars. Small rear garden with drying area. Use of private running mooring for small boats. Utility Room: Washing machine, dryer and access to small rear garden with drying area. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: White linen and fluffy white towels.

Had the best stay in Portree, the house was gorgeous and more than we could have asked for. Perfect location, extremely clean, Tricia was at the end of a call or email if we needed her and would highly recommend staying here. We have already recommended to friends if they ever go to skye here is the place to stay

We immediately felt at home as soon as we walked through the door. Fantastic location to explore skye. View from the house was amazing, lovely to wake up to every morning. Had all the home comforts one would need. Nice and quiet and also close to restaurants, shops, bars and much more. We would definitely recommend the house to others and would love to return in a couple of years hopefully for a couple of weeks. It was my partners first trip to Skye and he said that he couldn't have asked for a better location. We ate at the sea breeze restaurant on the harbour front, an amazing meal. The kitchen was well equipped and I enjoyed preparing some of our meals at our beautiful home for the week. Thank you for a great holiday. 🤗? 👍?

Great house with a great view!

We had a great time at this property. The property is very clean and very well furnished and equipped! Everything is of the high standard, washing machine, dryer and dishwasher are all Mièle. The rooms are big and very comfortable. Bathrooms are really nice, especially the one on the top floor. The property also has private parking for two cars, which is a must in Portree during the high season. There are lots of nice restaurants and cafes, and there are two Coops close to the Property. We will really recommend this property for the holidays. Thank you Tricia and John.
