Nautical Themed Retreat

Overview

Property

Updated: 29-Nov-2016
Chalet in Lelant, Nr. St Ives, Cornwall, England - Peaceful Loacation Perfectly Suited For All Hobbies And Interests

This self catering chalet has recently been painted and re-decorated to a high standard throughout. Taking inspiration from the sea we have created a relaxing, beach hut themed retreat which is both comfortable and stylish. We believe that a good nights sleep is essential and all mattresses and bedding has been recently replaced with new in June. There is also a well equipped open plan kitchen and living room with flat screen TV and DVD player. A decent electric shower and bath will wash off sand and salt water after a hard days play on the beach! If you fancy a BBQ or eating alfresco, there is a lovely patio area and picnic table outside.

About the Owner

I am an outgoing person with a passion for the sea and the outdoors. Whenever I have a free moment, I enjoy going on holiday to Cornwall, Pembrokeshire and Anglesey. I always pack a wetsuit and a BBQ, snorkel, mask and walking boots and make the most of exploring our gorgeous British coastlines. Being based in the Northwest, I cannot visit my 'lovely' lodge as much as I would like and feel that it is only right that I should share it! I hope you enjoy it and the area as much as I do.

Just returning home from our lovely week at this beautiful chalet. Thank you to Victoria, the owner, for making our holiday here special from the start. A lovely bottle of sparkling wine greeted us on arrival and the chalet had everything you need. Very good base to explore the area. Would recommend!

A Gem

  • 5 of 5

A really comfortable and clean home from home, we stayed for a week and the chalet had everything we could wish for, comfortable beds and sofas, a well equipped kitchen with fridge and full freezer, a tv with dvd player and dvd's. A launderette and swimming pool available on site and a really peaceful setting. We have stayed in similar properties near Hayle several times and would have no hesitation in returning again.

Location

From the Owner

Whilst visiting family on the park at Christmas, we found out that the chalet we were staying is was for sale and were lucky enough to buy it in March 2013. St Ives and the surrounding area, is a great place to visit and the lodge is in a perfect location for us. Close to gorgeous white sand beaches and turquoise seas, it is a fantastic base from which to surf, fish, snorkel, swim and walk whilst also being in easy reach explore the cultural and culinary delights the local area have to offer.
