Apartment in Mijas, Costa del Sol, Spain - 5 Minutes Walk To The Village Centre, Very Private Friendly Complex, Stunning Views From Terrace

Modern apartment built to blend in with the character of village it has a pool and bathing terrace with ample sunbeds and parasols, the village has excellent bars and restaurants, the standards and quality of eating out are excellent. There is regular free entertainment around the village also Mijas has its own Historical bullring and pretty churches, each street you walk along and each corner you turn will intrigue you with the beauty of the surroundings, if this is not enough the coast is only a short bus or taxi journey away (15 minutes ) where there is a coach tourist company for sight seeing tours and the trains are very inexpensive and journey to most of the other Costa Del sol resorts.

Location

we were attracted to the Costa Del sol for the excellent weather and short flight time. The language is not a problem due to most of the bars and restaurants and even the locals speak very good English.

Activity and Interests

Coast/Beach:

the nearest beach is fuengirola and is a 15 minute bus journey with a 5 minute walk.

Travel:

malaga airport is the required airport and is a 20 minute car/ taxi journey.

the train from the airport to fuengirola costs about 3 euros each person and the bus from street next to the train station to mijas costs less than 2 euros per person and runs about every 20 minutes, taxis are also available from outside the train station.

Further Details:

the village has adequate shops and supermarkets for self catering. the bars and restaurants are within walking distance and very good , there are several banks with ATM machines.

From the Owner

The airport is modern and easily accessible with taxis, buses and even a train station making the last leg of the journey easy and short, it only takes 20 minutes by car or taxi to get to the apartment and only about an hour if you choose train and bus or taxi. I have used a car hire company since 2006 and can recommend them if you wish to hire a car, but once in the apartment the village is only a 5 minute walk and there are plenty of good bars and restaurants to appease all tastes. If you prefer to relax and eat at the apartment the kitchen facilities are more than adequate and the local markets and shops are well stocked, you can eat on the balcony and walk onto the pool terrace to view the coast spectacularly lit up of an evening.

Outside: UN heated pool,pool depth max 1.5 metres pool showers, sunbeds and parasols, pool toilets, stunning views. Utility Room: portable fans, portable laundry rail, oil radiators and linen storage. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: the apartment is cleaned before occupation and there are ample towels and bed linen. cleaning and extra linen required during occupation can be arranged but will incur extra costs. Other: table and chairs on tiled balcony with view over pool and terrace, excellent for an evening drink outdoors.
