Comfortable, well equipped property
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this property, it was warm and comfortable, and has everything you might need. The hot tub is an added bonus, and our dogs enjoyed the small garden area. Convenient location - the main road on which the house is situated provides a short drive into Lymington in one direction, or into the New Forest in the other. Would stay again if we were in the area.

Wonderful cottage
Such a lovely cottage, everything you could wish for and more. We arrived to a wonderful welcome hamper, with a few unusual, unique well thought out items. Hosts Steve and Tiff were incredibly helpful from the point of booking through to inspirational days out due to the wet weather during our stay. The huge hot tub was a great addition and the downstairs bedroom/bathroom was perfect for our parents in their mid 70’s. 15 minute walk into the centre of Lymington, Which has a large selection of shops and there are soooo many lovely places to eat! Thank you for a lovely week!

Wow! A really lovely place to stay.
We booked Little Home Farm for a long weekend to celebrate my 60th birthday with family, and we had the most amazing time. The accommodation was lovely, clean and very welcoming. The kitchen is a great social place with everything you could possibly need. The three en-suite bedrooms were perfect with plenty of room. The huge hot tub was so lovely to chill out in. Everything was really great!! We are local so know the area and we wanted somewhere to just chill, relax and have fun, and it certainly did all those things. Steve was so welcoming and available if we needed anything. The welcome hamper was lovely and very gratefully received. Thank you Steve and Tiff for our lovely stay in your beautiful accommodation. Kind regards Trish, Graham and family

About the host

We are a family with 2 children aged 17 & 19 who grew up (as I did!) loving this area and all that it has to offer. My husband and I both work from home (next door) so are on hand if there are any last-minute problems or if you need a suggestion for a great local restaurant!

Why they chose this property

I have been lucky enough to have lived in this area for most of my life and can not think of anywhere that can offer so much to so many, at any time of year.
It has everything; the remoteness of the New Forest to the hustle of town. There are beaches and cities within easy reach, there are theme parks and cycle tracks, Museums and Theatres, sailing and walking, horses riding and rowing, cycling for miles with no real hills to speak of!
On our doorstep, you have access, by ferry, to the Isle of Wight, by train to London or by plane to anywhere in the world!
Lymington itself is a beautiful Georgian market town with plenty of fabulous places to eat and local shops to peruse!

What makes this property unique

Within 1/2 a mile, there are familiar shops such as Waitrose, Tesco, Boots etc plus a multitude of independent shops, restaurants and pubs. Every Saturday the High street comes alive with the weekly market selling everything from meat, veg, baked goods and fish to plants, clothes, crafts and Jewellery.
In the other direction, and only 1/2 a mile, you have the open forest with miles of tracks and the wonderful New Forest ponies to explore. There are beaches close by, and the Ferry to the Isle of Wight is within walking distance.
There is so much to do in the area that all tastes and ages are well catered for.
