House in Lavenham, Suffolk, England - In The Heart Of The Village With Lots Of Restaurants, Shops And Pleasant Walks

Connie's Cottage is newly renovated and is situated on the high street. Downstairs it has an open plan kitchen/dining/living room and a cloakroom. It has central heating and a wood burner. Upstairs there are two bedrooms, one with a king size bed and the other with a double bed. There is a modern bathroom with shower. Outside there is a private courtyard with garden furniture which is ideal for summer dining. There is a private parking place behind the property. The cottage is available for 7 night stays and longer - and it is also available for short breaks (either 3 or 4 nights). I am flexible on hand-over days. Please enquire for all my prices.

Every year Connie's Cottage welcomes many return visitors - it is ideally situated in the middle of the village, it is praised for its comfort, facilities and spic and span levels of cleanliness. Clare looks after the cottage with me - and we will do everything we can to make your stay enjoyable.

Activity and Interests


Connie's Cottage is within an hour of the beautiful Suffolk Coastline including Aldeburgh, Southwold and Snape Maltings.


Connie's Cottage is about 1 hour from Stansted airport and about 1 hour from Felixstowe and Harwich ports.


Sudbury is approximately 3 miles. Bury St Edmunds is about 10 miles. Cambridge is about an hour away. There are some beautiful historic villages of including including Clare, Long Melford and Cavendish - all within 20 minutes drive.

Further Details:

There is a local co-op and plenty of small trader shops selling local produce. There is a famous restaurant caleed the Great House, and Marco Pierre White has just opened the Angel Hotel in the village square. Lavenham is a medieval village and there are guided walks to help you learn more about its history and surroundings. The church is famous and stands magnificently at the top of the hill. There are many tea shops where you can enjoy morning coffee/tea, afternoon cream teas or indulge in cakes other delights.

Changeover day is normally Saturday, but this is flexible, depending on other bookings.

Notes on prices:
The prices range from £400 to £600 per week.
Short breaks are also available for 3/4 nights and the prices range from £300 to £450.

  • Outside: There is a private courtyard garden with a large table and 6 chairs. It is secluded and has easy access from the kitchen through double french doors. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: The towels and linen are included. There is always a welcome pack of tea, coffee, milk, sugar, chocolates and a bottle of wine. There is also always someone on hand to help with anything else that you may require.
