- just to let you know that we have enjoyed our few days in

Split mainly exploring the historic precinct of the Old Town and a trip to Hvar. For our first visit to Croatia we have discovered how

beautiful Dalmatia is and how friendly are Croatians. The music is

special and, as we are singers ourselves, we have loved the a capella harmony singing wherever we have visited.



Your apartment is first class and so well fitted out in a way that reflects both taste and quality. So I thought it is appropriate to let you know that we have appreciated it. We will vacate by 10am tomorrow and leave the keys in the apartment.

This was a first visit to Croatia and Split was a great city to visit with its port and beaches within walking distance to this charming, well appointed and newly renovated apartment. Sandra was a great hostess and arranged our transport from the airport and met us at the apartment when we arrived for the US. The apartment was perfect for 4 adults and included small kitchen and a great porch overlooking the central garden area of the building. This is where we spent most of our time while at the apartment, including eating our meals there. It was perfect for that. Sandra also provided a great map of the immediate neighbourhood with shops and restaurant recommendations that we really enjoyed. Overall, the apartment was perfect for our needs and the location was ideal for our excursions into the city center and local beaches.

Comfortable place in great location

Sandra had someone meet us at the Rioita Bridge and walk us to our unit. This is great since Venice can be more than confusing. The apartment was about two blocks from San Marks Square. Unit was clean, comfortable with everything we needed.

Faultless

We have stayed in apartments all over Europe and can say that this is up there with the best of them (if not the best). Immaculately clean, great facilities and we were met by Sandra with a bottle of wine and plate of local cheese, charcuterie and bread as we arrived quite late. Sandra took the time to explain the apartment and surroundings to us which helped us greatly. Apartment itself was fantastic. Everything worked and was spotless. Attention to detail excellent. Supermarket, bakery and butchers all two minutes walk. Beach and old town 10 minutes walk. Bacvice beach very busy so we walked further round the bay and spent our beach days on the Radisson sun deck (40 kuna per bed including brolly). Radisson beach restaurant also very good (limited choice but very good food). Energetic types would enjoy a good half day tromp around Marjan Hill. Split is a great place for a break and would recommend it especially if you stay at Sandra's apartment which I cannot recommend highly enough

Stunning Apartment

A beautiful and well appointed apartment in a quiet location just a 10 minute walk to the old town or sea front. Everything needed for a comfortable stay is provided even down to teat and coffee. The owner are on hand to give you a warm welcome and explain the workings of the included equipment. With two furnished balconies, one cool and shaded and one with full sun it is just perfect for early coffee or late drinks. Split is very picturesque and completely safe for all ages. A highly recommeded location.
