Thank you Gill and Brian for providing such a wonderful base for a holiday, the letting is beautiful and the scenery spectacular.
This is the best cottage we have ever had in over 40 years of self-catering holidays. The quality and presentation is superb and we were most impressed with the cleanliness and attention to detail.
We hope to be back sometime.

The Cowshed is kept in mint condition as if new, and has all you would need for a fantastic stay, the views are truly amazing and very peacefull. Absolutely fabulous cottage
Cottage has absolutely everything one could wish for on holiday right down to the smallest detail. Excellent hosts, wonderful panoramic views, perfect place to relax a few miles from lovely Ludlow. Over 3 years not one criticism had been written in visitors book-says it all.
The location is brilliant with wonderful views. The cottage itself is extremely comfortable and has been renovated to a very high standard with good quality furniture and fittings. Fantastic cleanliness. There is everything you need to make your stay enjoyable. The sunroom is a bonus.Gill and Brian have provided an abundance of information on the local area, places to visit, eat etc. All the work has been done for you! The welcome pack of wine, shortbread, fresh fruit and flowers was a lovely touch. Despite the terrible weather we thoroughly enjoyed our stay as it's such a lovely place to relax.
Really felt at home
This place was just perfect. The first place we have stayed in where we felt just as happy staying in as going out. We are usually up and out when we stay away from home, but here we were quite happy to sit and relax in the sunroom. It was so clean and tidy we could easily have believed we were the first ever visitors. Our hosts had thought of everything, including the all-important teapot! We were treated to flowers, wine, fruit and home-made biscuits. There is a seat at the top of the hill which we used for coffee moments. The view from the sunroom was lovely, and our hosts even put bird feeders up for us to watch the birds, as if the view wasn't enough. We found the walks in the area meant that we could just leave the car here. We only used the car twice, once to get supplies from Tesco, and once to visit a friend. Ludlow is an easy walk, as is Titterstone Clee Hill which we walked up three times. The information folders Gill and Brian provided were really useful. Our bed at home is the comfiest in the world, and this one matched ours, so we had a good night's sleep every night. We were up for a couple of hours on lunar eclipse night, and the sky was perfect for stargazing, dark and clear, the nearest artificial lighting was Ludlow. Overall the perfect place for relaxing, walking, mooching, reading and chilling out. Not sure if we should submit this review as it may mean we can't get booked in the future, but hey-ho, let's take a chance.
The perfect holiday rental
The accommodation is to the highest possible standard - beautifully designed, spotlessly clean and extremely comfortable. We have never stayed in a holiday cottage of this standard. The setting is extremely tranquil with beautiful far reaching views. The owners were very welcoming providing wine, fruit and home made biscuits on arrival - a lovely touch. A truly memorable stay. Thank you Brian and Gill!
Wonderful place to stay
We have been travelling around the UK for 3 months and we can honestly say this is a great place to stay. The layout of the cowshed is perfect, we were appreciative of the laundry area, separate sunroom, comfortable bed, the best shower and cleanliness was of the highest standard. Brian and Gill had thought of everything and we couldn't have been happier.
There is a superb view from the sunroom overlooking Ludlow and the town is only a short drive away. Lots of shops with a nice village feel about the place.
We wouldn't hesitate to go back as we were able to sightsee all day and come home and relax and when we had a rainy day we enjoyed staying put and catching up with paperwork and emails or just reading in the sunroom.
Thankyou to Brian and Gill for extending our stay and your warm hospitality.
