Villa in Mar Menor Golf Resort, Murcia, Spain - Great Location At Only 1 Minute Away From Resort Centre, Swimming Pool, Hotel And Golfclub

This luxury semi-detached villa is ideally located less than a minute's walk away from the 5 star Intercontinental Hotel, resort center, tennis court, community swimming pool, supermarket, golf club, spa, restaurants and bars.

The villa is in excellent shape as we use it ourselves twice or three times a year for our vacations. You will feel directly comfortable and relaxed and ready to enjoy your holiday. We purchased the villa in late 2012. We installed a swimming pool and terrace enclosure. All furniture is recently purchased, for example sofa, lounge set, all beds and matrasses, dining sets, sun loungers are all new.

It has a private 6x3m private swimming pool, front line golf views overlooking the 4th green to the rear of the property. You will completely relax, enjoying your children playing in the swimming pool and in the back seeing the golfers passing by. As the end villa on the street it also benefits from open views to the side of the property where you can see the impressive 5 Star Intercontinental Hotel at a foot step.

It has an enclosed terrace, ideal for winter season, when it is chilly in the evening. This way you still can have romantic evenings and enjoying sun set. On the other hand the glass curtain can be opened fully in summer. There is a good sized 1st floor terrace with a table for 4 persons, where you can enjoy sun rise and sun set. The garden is North facing, avoiding the heat during the day, but ensuring plenty of sun in the morning, afternoon and evening hours.

New air conditioning units have been installed, in the living area and both bedrooms. The villa has Free WIFI, a 42" Flat Screen TV, Blue Ray DVD Player, Playstation 3, Ipod Docking Station and access to a wide choice of Spanish and UK TV Channels.

Outside there is a sofa set, dining table for 4 persons, 3 sun loungers, a golf set and a gas barbecue.

Why Albert Sijm chose Torre-Pacheco

The villa is only 1 minute walk away from the resort centre, swimming pool, hotel, spa, bars and restaurants and golf clubhouse, where it is good to have breakfast or drink.

Murcia and the Costa Calida is the perfect place to enjoy either an energetic holiday or to relax and unwind away from it all. Or both! It is very easy to get to San Javier or Alicante airport.

The Mar Menor warm water is such a treat from May through to October. The unspoilt beaches are beautiful for walking in the winter and lively but not overcrowded in the summer. Murcia province is an excellent area for sight-seeing.

What makes this villa unique

The villa is in excellent shape as we use it ourselves twice or three times a year for our vacations. We normally go in spring and late summer. In winter we use it as our base to go skiing in Sierra Nevada.

We purchased the villa in 2012 and installed and replaced many things, such as a new swimming pool, terrace and glass curtain.

The villa is completely newly furnished, for example sofa, lounge set, all beds and matrasses, dining sets, sun loungers are all recently purchased.

Further we have installed air-conditioning in all rooms, new appliances in the kitchen and re-painted the house inside.

Stunning setting

The situ of the villa is ideal - beautifully located on the golf course and so close to Murcia airport. The resort complex is nice and the little Spar around the corner bakes the most deliciously fresh baguettes. The pool is salt water which makes all-day swimming much more comfortable. The pool's well stocked with floatations stuff for adults and kids. There's a table by the pool for dining outside but it was unfortunately too hot to eat at at for any meal other than breakfast without an umbrella. The barbecue's really nice and we used it every night. All in all a great place to stay.

A fabulous villa in a great location making for a fun family holiday

We visited the property for 2 weeks in early July 2017. I have 2 children aged 6 and 3 and found the villa to be a good size for a family of 4. It was well equipped with all the essentials so we could feel right at home and alternated eating at the villa and eating out. The location overlooking the golf course and within a stones throw of the main hotel complex was ideal with beautiful open views. We initially thought we would be overlooked by golfers but this wasn't at all a problem.

The Mar Menor complex is great with a number of pools, restaurants and an activity programme with a kids club and mini disco which my two loved.

I would definitely recommend this villa and would love to return in the future. Albert was very good to deal with, helpful and responded quickly to all communication.

Excellent villa

We stayed at this villa with our 2 children aged 5 & 7 for 2 weeks in August. It was beautifully clean and well laid out. Open plan downstairs with a WC. Lovely large landing upstairs with 2 bedrooms and a bathroom. Beautiful terrace with table and chairs to sit in evening to watch sunset. Outside area downstairs was the best! Undercover seating area with comfy seating and glass doors that open up. A beautiful pool and lovely loungers and another table and chairs.

Complex is great and this villa is a 2 minute walk to the main intercontinental hotel and spa. This was great as most nights they had a disco for the kids 8-10pm as well of lots of activities throughout the day and live music in the evening. Supermarket was also 2/3 mins walk which was an absolute godsend for essentials. We got taxi several times into los alcazares where there are lots of pubs and restaurants (cost 26 euros return in a taxi - taxi rank at front of hotel).

The owners were absolutely wonderful when booking and Janice was really helpful when we arrived and gave us lots of great tips.

Would highly recommend this villa to anyone.....we had an amazing holiday and hope to return again soon.

Absolutely Fantastic - 5 Star

The Villa is as described. It is a 5 Star villa, and you couldn't get a better location on the resort. The villa is spotlessly clean and very well equipped. The pool area is beautiful with great views of the golfers on the 4th hole.

We were met by Janice, a lovely lady who explains all you need to know, and is there on the end of a phone if you need her, but leaves you to enjoy your vacation. The owner also keeps you informed with all you need to know and replies to all emails.

Lovely restaurants in the resort and just outside on the boulevard.

Can't fault anything it was all superb, and we will be returning......

This was the third time I visited the villa and again I was very surprised!! The villa was much better maintained then a year before. The beds and mattresses were brand new, in the garden were beautiful plants (cactuses) and a big modern barbecue. You can see that the owner puts a lot of effort and love in the villa to keep it excellent and comfortable. The bottle of wine as a welcome present was also a nice surprice. That sweet wine made that I visited the Bodega of Bullas....excellent wines over there. Next year I will return for sure to this great villa to write a guide about the best Café Asiatico's of the area.

The perfect villa

The villa is in perfect condition with new beds and nice furnitures in the pool area and it was cleaned very well. The villa has a fantastic view. We liked our holiday and we can recommend it for a nice stay.
